Passports and Visas: Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have proper travel documents. Passports are required to be valid for at least 6-9 months beyond the dates for travel with a full blank page as is required for some countries. For Visas, passengers MUST CHECK with the respective consulate to determine if any visas or current entry requirements are necessary. 

Travel Protection: For all other reservations, it is important for passengers to purchase a Travel Protection Plan that helps provide coverage for Trip Cancellation, Interruption, Baggage Loss or Delay, Medical Expenses, Sickness, and more. Ask your Travel agent for a quote and a summary of the plan details on coverages, benefits, limitations, and exclusions.

Cancellation: Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing and in accordance with catalogs/brochures, tour operators and airlines’ conditions. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received and any refund or cancellation fee will also dependent on the amount of days prior to the scheduled departure the notice was provided. . Tour operators reserve the right to refuse to issue a refund of the cost of the trip in case of cancellation. For Groups, if airfare has been already issued at the time of cancellation, the cost of the airfare is not refundable, airlines tickets once issued are always subject to 100% penalty. There is an additional cancellation fee in accordance to the booked tour. For individuals, if airfare has already been issued at the time of cancellation, the cost of the airfare is usually not refundable with some limited exceptions. Accordingly, any refund or cancellation fee is determined by the airline’s own policy.

Documents: Trip documentation (vouchers) will be provided no later than 2 weeks prior the departure, provided full payment has been timely received. Documents could be sent via email or by physical mail. 

Children: All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Discounts for children sharing a room may apply to children under 15. Accompanying adults are responsible for the safety of their children including to provide any necessary safety equipment (such as infant/child seats) where appropriate. If a person under the age of 18 years will be travelling with an adult other than his/her parents, or with only one parent, a notarized letter written by the parents, or non-travelling parent, granting authorization to travel, including the dates of travel should be carried.

Prices: Prices are per person based upon shared room occupancy. Prices are correct at time of publication; however, since airfares continually fluctuate and classes of service may have limited capacity, tour package prices may change accordingly. 

 

 

Payment & Cancellation

For groups: A non-refundable deposit of $350.00 USD per person (except where specified) is due at time of booking

All other reservations: A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 USD per person (except where specified) is due at time of booking

 

Cancellation

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR GROUPS

All cancellations must be received in writing. The following charges will apply when canceling any reservation: The deposit of $350.00 USD per person IS NON-REFUNDABLE

 

IF THE CANCELLATION OCCURS 4 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE TRIP

$100.00 USD deposit per person airline charges ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

The rest of the deposit per person may be paid if the passenger wishes to transfer to another group, otherwise the deposit WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

 

NOTE: Before any cancellation 4 months before the trip, you must consult with the agent in order to rectify that there are no ground charges.

 

IF CANCELLATION OCCURS 91 DAYS BEFORE THE TRIP

The deposit of $350.00 USD per person is NON-REFUNDABLE

NOTE: Prior to any cancellation 91 days prior to travel, the agent must be consulted in order to rectify that there are no ground charges.

 

IF THE CANCELLATION OCCURS BETWEEN 91 TO 45 DAYS BEFORE THE TRIP:

The deposit of $350.00 USD per person is NON-REFUNDABLE

There will be a penalty for the air and land portion of approximately 50% of the total amount of the trip (please consult with your agent)

 

IF CANCELLATION OCCURS WITHIN 45 DAYS BEFORE THE TRIP:

Air tickets will have already been issued, therefore, they are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE

The ground penalty will be 100% NON-REFUNDABLE

 

Pay

For Groups: The final payment must be made a maximum of 45 days before the departure of your trip, otherwise, the reservation will be automatically canceled (except where otherwise specified)

All other reservations: Final payment must be made no later than 30 days before the departure of your trip (except where otherwise specified)

 

Late Payment: If there is any outstanding balance by the Final Payment Due Date, all travel services will be subject to automatic cancellation and loss of the non-refundable deposit per person. 

Last Minute Reservations: All last-minute reservations are subject to confirmation. If services are confirmed, final payment is due within 24 hours and all applicable cancellation penalties will apply.

Form of Payment: All payments due are in US Dollars. We accept payment in the form of personal check, wire transfer, Zelle, credit cards or debit cards. Payments made by wire transfer must include an additional $25.00 USD wire transfer fee. There is a $35.00 USD fee for returned checks including payments made electronically.

Refunds: Refunds are processed to the originally form of payment used. 

Travelers Needing Special Assistance: Individuals with any medical condition must inform PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP THROUGH THEIR TRAVEL AGENCY in writing, at the time of booking in order to be able to take the necessary and appropriate measures corresponding to the individual’s medical condition. The client is responsible for asking their agent if, according to their special conditions, the itinerary in which the client is interested is appropriate. According to the Citizens with Special Needs Act (ADA), for all passengers traveling with a wheelchair, it is important to consult the allowed measures and they must always travel with a person who can assist them. There are international destinations that do not comply with the conditions of the ADA. In the event that the client agrees to travel, PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP will not assume any responsibility regarding the difficulty the passenger may find to carry out the programmed activities of the tour package, nor does it assume the obligation to offer assistance to their adaptation or continuation of the program. We remind each client that our buses do not have access ramps for wheelchairs.. If the client fails to inform PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP that the client or any member of the traveling group requires accommodations such as wheelchairs, the client will be responsible for any additional cost incurred in the provision of said accommodations.

Airline Booking: PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP offers a choice of airlines and airfares for your convenience, but is not responsible for the services and policies imposed by the airline selected. Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice. In case of changes or cancellations, PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP is not required to refund airfare until refunded by the airline, and is not responsible for penalties incurred for tickets, international or domestic. 

Airline Baggage: For Groups, checked luggage is typically included and is limited to a total of 1 suitcase per person with a dimension of 62 inches by adding length + width + height (example: 26"+26"+10" = 62"), and a maximum weight of 50 lbs. (23kg) and a carry-on baggage. For all other reservations, many airlines apply charges for checked bags including flights which begin and end within the USA. For specific requirements of your airline and for a complete list of fees, please visit the airline’s website. PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP is not responsible for checked bag fees, excess luggage or weight charges levied by an airline, nor for luggage lost or damaged by the airline. In case of loss or damage, a baggage claim form MUST be filed with the carrier before leaving the airport. PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP provides a brightly colored luggage tag to help you locate you luggage upon arrival or to describe it in the event that it is lost.

Hotel Accommodations: All rooms are standard with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel. Special requests are subject to availability. Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds or one double bed plus a sofa/folding bed or cot for third person except in the U.S. and Canada, where triple rooms often consist of two double/queen beds for three persons. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size. In many European and Canadian hotels air-conditioning is often shut down at night and from the end until the start of the summer months or does not count with one. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standards in case of lack of availability. 

Meals: As specified in each itinerary, meals are based on the hotel's or restaurant's buffet or set menu. In general, beverages are not included, unless specifically stated. Dietary requests and preferences should be made in writing and should be provided at the time of booking. While every effort will be made to honor special dietary requests, we cannot make any guarantees.

Transfers: Transfers are provided as indicated for each individual tours or Groups, however, if the passenger deviates from the arrival and/or departure dates as stated in the itinerary, in most, but not all, cases the passenger will have the option to add transfer services to their reservation at an additional cost. The arrival transfer is guaranteed for up to one hour from your scheduled arrival time in order to compensate for minor delays. PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP or the transfer company will not be responsible for flight delays, for any reason, beyond one hour from your originally scheduled arrival time. In case of a delay, whether due to flight delay, immigration and customs, or time spent reporting baggage damage or loss, it will be the passenger’s responsibility to make other transfer arrangements an cover such additional expenses. Transfer costs are not refundable. 

Itinerary: Tours are operated both by motor-vehicle and walking. The motor-vehicle’s size is dictated by the number of participants, which may vary during the tour. We cannot guarantee the number of passengers who will be on any given tour, except on Groups created by PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP. Some buses are equipped with  a restroom facility, however they are strictly intended for emergency use only and often require the vehicle to stop for safety reasons before use. In terms of meeting hours listed in itineraries, it is the passenger’s responsibility to arrive on time for all scheduled events and package components. Arriving late may be considered a "no-show", in which case you will not be eligible for refund for the unused service(s). On dates including, but not limited to holidays, religious holidays, national celebrations, certain periods, and/or due to unforeseen circumstances including weather conditions, some monuments and sites may be closed and/or there may be last-minute changes, sometimes after arrival, affecting the sequence of the tour, locations visited and/or hotels. Therefore, we reserve the right to adjust the sequence and/or substitute any hotels with others of similar category. In such cases there will be no cost adjustment. 

Health Requirements: Check with your healthcare provider for up-to-date requirements. You may also check the Centers for Disease Control (www.cdc.gov) and/or the World Health Organization (http://www.who.int/en/) for their recommendations. Required inoculations, if any, must be recorded by clients' health practitioner on a valid vaccination certificate which the client must carry for proof of inoculation where required. All costs associated with medical treatment and related expenses such as additional hotel nights or transportation not included in the original itinerary, will be the responsibility of the passenger or the purchased Travel Protection Plan(s), where applicable.

Please note that some countries may require aircraft cabin insecticide treatment for in-bound foreign flights. A list of such countries is available at:

Travel Safety Advice: We have a strong network of tour managers, local offices, ground operators and colleagues which help us stay informed in all the destinations we operate, and we closely monitor local situations which enable us to make the operational decisions necessary to keep our tours running safely and the safety of our passengers as a top priority. However, before you travel, we strongly recommend that you visit the website of the US Department of State at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel.html for up-to-date travel advice on the countries that you are visiting. The website provides useful information on subjects such as safety and security information, health precautions and medications, health insurance and additional tips for traveling abroad. If you do not reside in the United States, we recommend you check your government's travel advisory website for any country you will be visiting. 

Weapons: Are not permitted on any tour including, but not limited to, firearms, knives, mace, brass knuckles, and any other weapons of any type.

Emergency Contact: We recommend the passenger to provide an emergency contact prior to travel. The reason we collect this information is to be able to get in contact with family or friends in the rare case of an emergency.

Customer Service: All customer service issues must be submitted in writing and must be received by PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP within 30 days following your return.

Passenger Agreement: At the time of the reservation, the passengers formally accept PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP’s Terms & Conditions, Release from Liability, Assumption of Risk, Governing Law, Submission to Jurisdiction and Mandatory Mediation Provisions.. 

Governing Law: All matters arising out of or relating to this Agreement are governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of FLORIDA without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule (whether of the State of FLORIDA or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than those of the State of FLORIDA.

Submission to Jurisdiction: Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be instituted in the federal courts of the United States of America or the courts of the State of FLORIDA in each case located in the City of MIAMI and County of DADE, and each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts in any such suit, action, or proceeding.

Dispute Resolution/Mandatory Mediation: Unresolved controversies, claims and other matters between PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP and client arising out of, or relating to, this Agreement or its breach, enforcement or interpretations (“Dispute”) will be settled as follows: PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP and client shall attempt to settle Disputes in an amicable manner through mediation pursuant to Florida Rules for Certified and Court-Appointed Mediators and Chapter 44, Florida Statutes, as amended (the “Mediation Rules”). The mediator must be certified. Disputes not settled pursuant to this provision may be resolved by instituting action in the appropriate court as specified in the Submission to Jurisdiction Provision above.

Severability: If any term or provision of this Agreement is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect any other term or provision of this Agreement or invalidate or render unenforceable such term or provision in any other jurisdiction.

Survival. Provisions of these Agreement which by their nature should apply beyond their terms will remain in force after any termination or expiration of this Agreement including, but not limited to, the following provisions: Governing Law, Submission to Jurisdiction, Dispute Resolution/Mandatory Mediation and Survival.

Release from Liability: PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP does not own any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip. This includes ownership or control over hotels, airlines, vessels, buses, vans or other transportation companies, local ground operators, providers or organizers of optional excursions, food service or entertainment providers, etc. All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity. PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP is, without limitation, not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay or inconvenience in connection with the provision of any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from, but not limited to, acts of government, acts of war, force majeure, labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, defective conditions in hotels, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or for any failure of any transportation used to arrive or depart timely or safely, diseases and dangers associated with animals, pests or insects, marine life or vegetation of any sort, dangers incident to recreational activities such as swimming, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, rafting, hiking, walking, bicycling, etc., sanitation problems, food poisoning, lack of access to or quality of medical care, difficulty in evacuation in case of a medical or other emergency, illness, epidemics, pandemics, or the threat thereof or for any other cause beyond the direct control of PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP. The client releases PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP from all liability arising out of or related to the foregoing, and expressly assumes all risk thereof.

Assumption of Risk: The client is aware that traveling involves hazardous activities, with a risk of illness, injury or death which may be caused by forces of nature, animals, insects or flora. The client is aware that weather conditions may be severe, adverse and/or unpleasant. The client is also aware that medical services or facilities may not be readily available or accessible during some or all of the time during which the client is participating on the trip. In order to partake of the enjoyment of this trip the client is willing to accept the risks and uncertainty involved. The client hereby accepts and assumes full responsibility for any and all risks of illness, injury or death and agrees to hold harmless and releases PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP from claims of third-party negligence.

The client understands the physical requirements of the activity in which him/she will be participating, and currently has no known physical, medical or mental condition which would impair his/her ability to participate in this tour or his/her safety in this activity and is willing to assume all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition. The client hereby authorizes PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP or my local ground handler or others to arrange for any emergency medical treatment and hospitalization as may be necessary for the client without their further consent.

Binding Arbitration: The client agrees that any dispute concerning, relating or referring to this agreement, the brochure or any other literature concerning my trip, or the trip itself, shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration and not any federal, state, or local court or agency shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, conscionability, or formation of this contract, including but not limited to any claim that all or any part of this contract is void or voidable. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the client (and we) are waiving our right to a trial by jury.

Voluntary Participation: The client acknowledges that he/she has voluntarily applied to participate on the trip designated on this application (or a trip which the client may change to) and has read the description of the trip as it appears in the current PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP’s website, catalogs, brochures or any other supplements relating to the trip, together with all information contained in this application. The client is voluntarily participating in this trip with knowledge of the hazards involved.

Knowing and Voluntary Execution: The client has carefully read these Terms and Conditions and the booking information sections of this document, and fully understand its contents and certifies the client is 18 years of age or older. The client is aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between themselves and PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP and agrees of the client’s own free will. By checking the Passenger Agreement box, the client agrees to these Travel Terms & Conditions and PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP’s Release from Liability, Assumption of Risk, Governing Law, Submission to Jurisdiction and Mandatory Mediation Provisions. on his/her own behalf as well as on behalf of each member of the client’s traveling party and any minor children accompanying the client. 

Photographic Release: PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP may take photographs or video of its trips and trip participants grant PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP permission to do so. Also, participants grant permission to use or publish such photograph or videos for promotional or commercial use without payment of any compensation.

Use of Website: www.pjrtravel.com

Agreement between the client and PJR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL GROUP is offered conditioned on the client’s acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. The client’s use of www.pjrtravel.com constitutes the client’s agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.
