Travel Safe, Update of the measures caused by COVID-19

The requirements below are based on information collected from different official websites of the countries and applies only to US Citizens

Due to the constant update of border requirements and restrictions, before traveling, you should consult the requirements directly with public organisms and authorities (Consulates/Air Lines)

IMPORTANT: All passengers returning and/or entering the USA need to be fully vaccinated and present a negative PCR or Antigen Test result within 24 hours prior entering the country. For more information please visit the CDC website

Passengers treveling to European Countries within the European Union must dowload the Green Pass App 

According to an agreement of the European Union, the vaccination certificate expires 9 months after the second dose (this applies to most countries)

EUROPE

AUSTRIA

Passengers must:

  • Be fully vaccinnated at least 21 days before arrival (must show proof of vaccination) and cannot exceed more than 6 months from the second dose
  • Have a negative COVID-19 PCR Test issued 72 hours before the date and time of arrival; or Antigen test 24 hours before the date and time of arrival
  • Complete a "Pre-Travel-Clearance" and present it upon arrival

This does not apply to passengers under the age of 12 when accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Passengers must:

  • Be fully vaccinnated and present proof of vaccination, with the last dose of the vaccine at least 14 days before arrival 
  • Have a negative COVID-19 Antigen Test issued 48 hours before the date and time of arrival; or
  • Have a negative COVID-19 PCR Test issued 72 hours before the date and time of arrival

This does not apply to passengers younger thast 7 years if accompanied by their parents or legal guardians who have a negativa COVID-19 rapid antigen or PRC test result; or, a COVID-19 vaccination certificate.

BELGIUM

Passengers must:

  • Be fully vaccinnated and present proof of vaccination, with the last dose of the vaccine at least 14 days before arrival
  • Present a negative COVID-19 PCR Test issued 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point
  • Complete a Passenger Locator Form to submit at most 48 hours before arrival
  • If staying more than 48 hours in the country, a test will be required after arrival and must wait in quarantine until the result arrives

Both the certificates and test results must be in Dutch, English, French, German

Passengers younger than 12 years of age are exempted from presenting a negative COVID-19 test result or proof of vaccination

Passengers must:

Passengers under 12 years of age are exempt from presenting a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test result.

The proof of vaccination is only valid if it can be shown that a complete vaccination schedule was carried out, that is:

  • 2 dosis of Sinovac, Coronavac and Sinopharm
  • 3 dosis of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna

Passengers must:

  • Be fully vaccinated and present proof of vaccination, with the last dose of the vaccine at least 14 days before arrival (or 21 days in case of Janssen) and cannot exceed more than 9 months from the first dose
  • Present a negative PCR test result or antigen test result taken at most 48 hours before the date and time of arrival

Passengers under 6 years of age are exempt from presenting a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test result.

Passengers must:

Passengers must:

Passengers must:

  • Fully vaccinated passengers must present proof of vaccination, with the last dose of the vaccine at least 14 days before arrival 
  • Present a negative COVID-19 PCR Test issued 72 hours before the date and time of arrival; or anegative COVID-19 Antigen Test issued 24 hours before the date and time of arrival

Children under 12 years old are exempt from these requirements.

Passengers must:

  • Complete an "Application Form" and present it upon arrival.

Passengers must:

  • Fill the Health Control Form (FCS in Spanish) before entering Spain (can be filled as early as 48 hours prior departure) and present the QR code obtained (can be presented as a digital copy or printed)
  • Present a negative PCR test within 72 hours or antigen test result taken at most 48 hours before the date and time of arrival

Passengers must:

ISRAEL

Passengers must:

  • Complete the following link https://corona.health.gov.il/en/flights/ within 48 hours before arriving in Israel
  • Present a negative COVID-19 PCR Test issued at most 72 hours before the date and time of arrival (the PCR Test must be in english and include the passport details of the passenger)
  • Upon entering Israel, passengers must take a PCR test at the airport (this test is paid in Israel and a pre-registry is required to to reserve the test spot at https://corona.health.gov.il/
  • Have travel insurance that covers COVID-19 during your stay

Foreign citizens who test positive for Covid-19 during their stay in Israel must remain in total isolation. Foreign citizens will be transferred by ambulance to an assigned isolation center for their recovery and the costs of ambulance transportation, stay in the isolation center and medical attention will be at your expense. All passengers arriving in Israel from abroad must be in isolation for 24 hours OR until they receive a negative result from the PCR test that was taken upon arrival. JORDAN

Passengers must:

  • Be fully vaccinated and present proof of vaccination with the last dose of the vaccine at least 21 days before arrival (the vaccination certificate must be in Arabic or English)
  • Present a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point (this does not apply to passengers younger than 5 years old)
  • Complete a "Declaration Form" before departure, the QR code generated must be presented before boarding and upon arrival
  • Show proof of health insurance (required)
  • Passengers are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival which must be paid before departure at https://registration.questlabjo.com/ if traveling to Amman (AMM), or at https://covid19.biolab.jo/ if traveling to Aqaba (AQI), and must have an electronic receipt with a QR code confirming the payment (this does not apply to passengers younger than 5 years old)

THAILAND

Passengers must:

  • Be fully vaccinated
  • Enter "Test & Go" and attach all the required documents (the procedure is detailed below)
  • Reserve the first and fifth day in a SHA+ hotel, which has a contract with a hospital to carry out the test (On this first and fifth day it will be when passengers do the RT-PCR test (passengers must stay in the room until they obtain the negative test result

  • Vaccination certificate or passport in English (Upload a clear photo)

  • Confirmation of medical insurance covering USD 50,000 in English (Upload clear photo)
  • Proof of the hotel reservation on day 1 and day 5 and the two PCR tests (Upload clear)
  • You will receive an email with a QR code that you must present at the airport to take your flight to Thailand.

NOTE: Apart from the documentation required to apply for the Thailand Pass, the visa will also be required for the nationalities that normally had to apply for it to enter Thailand.

TURKEY

Passengers must:

  • Fill out a "Travel Entry Form" called "HES" at most 72 hours before departure and present it at check-in and upon arrival.
  • Fully vaccinated passengers must present proof of vaccination, with the last dose of the vaccine at least 14 days before arrival (fully vaccinated passengers are exempt from presenting a negative COVID-19 test result)
  • Non-vaccinated passengers must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test with a QR code taken at most 72 hours before the date and time of arrival

Passengers younger than 6 years of age are exempted from either presenting a negative COVID-19 test result and filling out the form.

IMPORTANT TRANSFER NOTE: Due to the measures taken by the health situation at Istanbul IST airport, transferrs cannot enter the airport. We kindly ask passengers to go to the LA PUERTA 9 exit where the transfer operator will be waiting for you to be picked up.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES 

DUBAI

Passengers must meet ONE of the following requirements:

  • Vaccination certificate with QR code with all full doses; or
  • Present a negative PRINTED result of the COVID-19 PCR test with QR code no later than 48 hours before the day and time of arrival in Dubai; or
  • Medical certificate that the passenger recovered from COVID-19 with a QR code and a minimum of 1 month between the date of recovery and the date of the trip

The PCR test and the vaccination or recovery certificate must be in English or Arabic

Have medical insurance PRINTED

Depending on the origin of the flight, some passengers must take a PCR test on arrival at Dubai airport (this test is completely free and does not replace the negative test that they must bring for entry to the United Arab Emirates)

If traveling with EMIRATES

ABU DHABI

Passengers traveling to Abu Dhabi who wish to enter the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Malls, Museums, etc must:

  • Present a negative result of the COVID-19 PCR test carried out within the United Arab Emirates
  • Present  proof of vaccination with all doses completed

AFRICA

EGYPT

In order to enter Egypt, it will be necessary to present ONE of the following options at the airport:

  • Present a negative PCR test with a QR code at the airport a maximum of 72 hours before the day and time of arrival in Egypt. IMPORTANT: if the PCR test does not have the QR code, you will not be allowed to enter the country
  • Present a negative PCR test with the stamp of the laboratory responsible for issuing the results and a maximum of 72 hours before the day and time of arrival in Egypt
  • Present a vaccination certificate that contains a QR code, with the last dose of the vaccine at least 14 days before arrival (NOT all airlines accept the vaccination certificate for travel; we recommend checking with your airline before traveling)

Certificates are accepted in Arabic or English. For certain countries, the vaccination certificate must be presented together with a PCR test taken no later than 72 hours before the day and time of arrival in Egypt (see the list of countries here: https://eg.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/covid-19-information/ )

Digital copies will not be accepted

VACCINE IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

  • The vaccine used must be one of those approved by the World Health Organization or the Egyptian Medicines Authority. The accepted vaccines are: Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Sputnik V, Oxford / AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
  • At least 14 days must have passed since the second dose
  • All passangers will need to show proof of health insurance upon arrival

Passengers must:

  • Be fully vaccinated and present proof of vaccination, with the last dose of vaccine at least 14 days prior to arrival 
  • Present a negative COVID-19 PCR Test issued at most 48 hours before departure from the first embarkation point (Test results must be in Arabic, French or English)
  • Passengers are subjet to a COVID-19 rapid antigen test upon arrival
  • Fill out a "Public Health Passenger Form" before departure at www.onda.ma., this form must be printed and presented upon arrival

Passengers must:

  • Complete a "Traveller Health Questionnaire" upon arrival (this form is provided by the airline or in the arrival airport)
  • Health Insurance is recommeded

Passengers must:

  • Present a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate showing that the passenger has been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival
  • Present a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate showing that the passenger received the first vaccine dose and negative Covid-19 test taken at most 72 hours before boarding or a negative antigen test taken at most 48 hours before boarding
  • A "Check Mig" form must be submitted at most 72 hours before departure

 Passangers must arrive at San Jose (SJO) or Liberia (LIR) and must:

Passengers must:

  • Present a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate showing that the passenger has been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival (most have completed the 2 dosis of vaccination)
  • All travellers over 40 years of age must show a booster shot if they have more than 3 months after fully vaccinated
  • Present a negative PRC test taken at most 48 hours before international flight departure, antigen test will NOT be accepted
  • Complete an "Affidavit of Health and Geolocation Authorization" within 72 hours before departure
  • Passengers younger than 12 years are exempted from presenting a vaccination certificate, but must show a negative COVID-19 test result taken at most 48 hours prior to boarding

Passengers must:

  • Submit the approval of "Bahamas Travel Health Visa" with the QR code obtained at http://www.travel.gov.bs/

Passengers 2-11 years old can submit a rapid antigen test

Passengers must:

  • Present a negative COVID-19 PCR Test taken at most 72 hours before the date and time of arrival or
  • Present a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate showing that the passenger has been fully vaccinated at least 3 weeks before arrival
  • Complete an "Electronic Ticket" before arrival (this will generate a QR code which must be presented upon arrival) 

Passengers younger than 5 years are exempted from presenting a negative COVID-19 test result or a vaccination certificate 

Passengers arriving from Venezuela must have an authorization obtained from immigration authorities before departure
