Itinerario
Día 1: Roma.-
Welcome to Rome! Upon
airport arrival, we shall be waiting to transport you to your hotel. Later, our
guide will greet you at the hotel and will provide all the necessary information
or you can check the informative panels in the hotel
reception area.
At
the end of the evening we arrange a
transfer to Trastevere area. This neighbourhood will be a great introduction
to Rome, a stroll in the narrow cobbled streets of the
Trastevere district reveals hidden treasures to us, such as some
modest mediaeval churches, small shops with the most peculiar of objects or
scenes of daily life. Many
trattorias (informal Italian eating establishments) and osterias (inns) imbued
with the Italian spirit will be ready to serve you local dishes. Other
restaurants serving Indian, Chinese and international food can be found in this
area. Return to hotel.
Día 2: Roma.-
In
the morning, we have a scenic tour of
the city, which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”. We
enter the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a principal centre of
Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. And
we have also included admission to the
Roman Coliseum, the principal
symbol of Rome. This impressive construction dates back 2,000 years and will
transport us in time so that we can learn about ancient society in the Roman
Empire.
In
the evening we provide transport to the
Via Cavour area, where you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian,
Chinese and international food. Return to hotel.
Día 3: Roma- Florencia.-
We
will leave Rome, heading north. This route is graced with beautiful landscapes.
Upon arrival in FLORENCE, we head
straight to Piazzale Michelangelo,
an impressive site in the city. In the evening we provide a tour with a local expert, and walk through the historic centre,
taking in places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Plaza della
Signoria. This city is truly an outdoor museum. Free time to explore.
In
the evening, you can dine at your favourite restaurant. In this district you
can find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and international food.
Día 4: Florencia- Venecia.-
Today
we enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains.
Arriving in VENICE, we will take the
boat and cross the Grand Canal to the Island of Venice. With a local guide, we will visit the
marvellous St. Mark’s square and enter the marvellous basilica (entry cost included). Afterwards, we shall be able to
visit the Murano glass factory city. It is marvellous to see the technique of how this ancient glass
is made. Free time. Accommodation in the Mestre district.
Día 5: Venecia- Innsbruck- Kitzbuhel.-
We will depart from Venice, travelling to Austria!
Arrival to INNSBRUCK, time to stroll in the historic centre and
have lunch. After this, we travel along a very pretty scenic road between the
mountains to KITZBÜHEL – Arrival and time to see this
picturesque little village, a famous ski resort where we can enjoy the snow for
a large part of the year! Free time. Dinner included (vegetarian
option possible).
Note: In case of few travellers on the trip, the journey from Venice to Innsbruck
may be done by a train.
Día 6: Kitzbuhel- Salzburgo -St. Wolfgang- Traunsee- Viena.-
Departing in the morning, we
include a cable car ride up to the high mountains that
surround Kitbuhel, with snow 9 months a year, fantastic scenery; in summer,
those who wish may visit the “alpine flower garden”. We will continue to
explore Austria, traveling between the mountains, and arriving in SALZBURG.
Our guide will accompany us through the beautiful streets of this city’s
historic centre, declared a World Heritage site. We make our way between lakes
and mountains in the next stage. Our next stop is in ST. WOLFGANG,
a famous place of pilgrimage in Austria. We continue to TRAUNKIRCHEN with
its beautiful Traunsee Lake, where we take a cruise to see
four castles, disembarking in GMUNDEN. After this we continue to VIENNA, arriving
in the late afternoon.
Día 7: Viena.-
Sobre las 09.00 hrs iniciamos una panorámica de Viena. Esta visita se realiza con guía local con una duración aproximada de dos horas y media. En la visita conocerá la famosa Ringstrasse, el principal boulevard de Viena, la Ópera, el exterior del palacio de Hofburg, paso por los jardines del Prater, Castillo de Belvedere, Universidad. Finalizará en el castillo de Schonbrunn para que allí entren en su interior los que lo deseen. Los que no deseen entrar en el interior se les volverá a llevar al centro de la ciudad. Durante la visita se harán dos paradas.
Por la noche sobre las 19.00 hrs. incluimos un traslado a la plaza del Ayuntamiento, podrá disfrutar su iluminación y la actividad nocturna de las calles vecinas. Nuestro guía le orientará sobre la zona. Regreso al hotel sobre las 21.30 hrs.
Día 8: Viena- Budapest.-
We have an approximately three-hour journey to BUDAPEST, Hungary.
Arriving at around 11:30, we will discover Budapest (known as the “Queen of the
Danube”) on a boat tour along the river. Budapest is divided by the
Danube River, with historic Buda on one side and cosmopolitan Pest on the
opposite side. Time for lunch, followed by a scenic tour of the
city. After the tour enjoy some leisure time. At the end of the day we
finish in the lively area of Vaci Utca, where there are lots of
opportunities to take your dinner.
Día 9: Budapest- Bratislava- Praga.-
We will leave Budapest for BRATISLAVA, the
capital of Slovakia and a city alongside the Danube with an attractive historic
centre. Time to see the city and have lunch. After lunch we will continue on
our way to the Czech Republic. PRAGUE
- Arrival in the evening. At the end of the afternoon, we provide transport to take you to the Old Town Square. This central location is full of energy and touristic activities. It’s a marvellous place to acquaint ourselves with Prague. Several restaurants offering cuisines from around the world will be waiting to delight your taste buds, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.
Día 10: Praga.-
Today we
are visiting the capital, which is the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local
expert will provide an informative city
tour, which will include the outstanding monuments. During the visit we
walk through Prague Castle (admission
included). Subsequently, we shall take a magnificent boat tour on the river. Free time in the afternoon to explore
Prague. In the evening, we enjoy time in the historic city centre and there
will be an opportunity for you to enjoy cuisines from around the world
(including Czech, Chinese to Indian and Italian). Return to hotel.
Día 11: Praga- Lauf- Wurzburg-Frankfurt.-
We leave for Germany. In the region of Bavaria, we will
see LAUF AN DER PEGNITZ, a
picturesque little village which stands out for its busy Market Square and
Castle. After this we will carry on to WURZBURG,
with time for lunch and to see this Bavarian city on the banks of the Maine,
a former bishopric centre and now a very busy university city. Our journey continues
toward FRANKFURT. Explore the historic centre
and choose your favourite restaurant to dine in (from Indian, Oriental,
Italian, International, and so on).
Día 12: Frankfurt- Crucero por el Rhin- Colonia- Amsterdam.-
Today
we include a small CRUISE ON THE RHINE, between the villages of RUDESHEIM
and ST. GOAR; undoubtedly
the river’s most picturesque sector. After this we will travel to COLOGNE,
a city which stands out for its immense Gothic cathedral. Then on to
Holland. AMSTERDAM – arrival at the end of the afternoon
Día 13: Amsterdam- Zaanse Schans- Volendam- Marken- Amsterdam.-
Today
we have a very exciting and beautiful
day. We will go to Zaanse Schans
with its mills, its canals and its typical houses . VOLENDAM, a very picturesque fishing
village. From Volendam,
on a short boat trip we will go to
MARKEN, an island that was united to the mainland by a fixed dike, their houses
were built on stilts.
After this, we travel to AMSTERDAM
where we include a panoramic visit
of the city to see its narrow canals, the Dam Platz, its official buildings and
parks. We will also
see the technique of cutting diamonds. A large part of the visit will be done on foot.
The information will be given through headphones.
At the end of the day, you
will be taken to Rembrandtplein, one
of the busiest squares in the city with plenty of restaurants (Indian, Chinese,
Italian, and so on).
Día 14: Amsterdam- Hamelin, Marienborn- Berlin.-
We leave Amsterdam for Germany. En route, we
stop at HAMELIN, a picturesque German town. Here, many shops and streets remind us of
the town’s legend: The Pied Piper of
Hamelin, written by The Brothers
Grimm. We continue to MARIENBORN,
on the former border that separated East and West Germany until 1990, where we
will see the museum that reminds us of it. Then we continue to BERLIN, arriving at the end of
the afternoon.
Día 15: Berlin,-
Ease your
way into the local culture with a guided
visit of Germany’s incredible capital, Berlin. We shall visit the historic
centre, Museum Island, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gates and the city’s magnificent
parks. We continue our visit by stopping at the Holocaust
Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum. This
visit helps us to understand the difficult situation the city experienced
during the Twentieth Century. Time to explore the city. Enjoy an evening in the
lively area of Kantstrasse, a
district that offers different types of ethnic restaurants to dine in (Indian,
Oriental, Italian, German, and so on).
Día 16:
