Day 1: Madrid - Cordoba
If you have stayed with us in Madrid, we will provide a transfer to the station. If not, we’ll send you the high-speed train ticket.
We’ll board our high-speed train from Madrid to Córdoba around 11:00 a.m. (time to be confirmed). In less than two hours, traveling at speeds of up to 300 km/h, we’ll arrive in Córdoba, renowned for its history as the capital of the Caliphate of Córdoba during the Islamic era. You’ll have free time to explore the city center. After lunch, we’ll embark on a guided tour of the city, including its most iconic monument, the breathtaking Mosque-Cathedral, a masterpiece of Islamic and Christian architecture (tickets included). You’ll also see the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its charming narrow streets, flower-filled patios, and historic buildings, as well as the Old Synagogue (tickets included).
04:30 p.m. - Departure from Córdoba after the panoramic tour.
04:50 p.m. - Medina Azahara (admission included). On the outskirts of Córdoba, we’ll visit the archaeological site of Medina Azahara, a city-palace built in the 10th century by order of Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Rahman III. Conceived as a symbol of the power and grandeur of the caliphate, it is a World Heritage Site.
06:00 p.m. - Departure from Medina Azahara. Return to Córdoba.
06:20 p.m. - Arrival in Córdoba, with additional free time to continue exploring the city.

Day 2: Córdoba - Baena - Granada

09:00 a.m. - Departure from Córdoba after breakfast, crossing through vast regions of olive groves.
10:00 a.m. - Baena. We’ll stop in this charming town with Roman roots, renowned for producing high-quality olive oil. We’ll visit the Núñez de Prado Olive Oil Mill, one of the oldest in the Mediterranean, housed in an 18th-century building, where traditional methods have been passed down through generations. Here, we’ll learn about olive oil production and olive groves, and enjoy a tasting of pan con aceite (bread with olive oil).
11:15 a.m. - Departure from Baena.
12:45 p.m. - Granada. Arrival in one of Spain’s most iconic cities. It’s most famous monument, the Alhambra, is a magnificent Nasrid palace and citadel and UNESCO World Heritage Site, stands as one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture in Europe. Admission and guided visit to the Alhambra are included. Lunch is also included. Afterward, you’ll have free time to explore the city at your own pace, during which you can visit the cathedral or stroll through the Albaicín, the old Moorish quarter with narrow-cobbled streets that offers stunning views of the Alhambra.

08:30 a.m. - Departure from Granada. We’ll enjoy spectacular scenery as we cross the Sierra Nevada mountain range on an impressive highway. We’ll then continue our journey along the Mediterranean, on the so-called Costa Tropical, where the mild microclimate throughout the year allows the cultivation of tropical fruits and crops such as guavas, mango, and avocado, and in the past, sugar cane.
10:00 a.m. - Nerja. We’ll have time for a walk in this charming village on the Costa del Sol. From the viewpoint, the so-called Balcón de Nerja, in the center of town, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the sea, the coast, and its cliffs, and on many occasions, even Africa.
11:15 a.m. - Departure from Nerja.
11:30 a.m. - Frigiliana. Time to discover the charming corners of this village, considered one of the most beautiful in Andalusia, with its steep streets surrounded by impeccably whitewashed houses.
12:45 p.m. - Departure from Frigiliana.
01:45 p.m. - Malaga. Arrival in the capital of Costa del Sol, known as the city of museums, the birthplace of Picasso, and famous for the unfinished cathedral La Manquita, meaning in English “The One-Armed Lady”. You’ll have time for lunch and to explore the city center, or if the weather allows it, you can enjoy a visit to the beach for a swim.

Today, we’ll experience one of the most beautiful stages of our trip, touring the White Villages, with their stunning mountain landscapes that truly reflect the Andalusian spirit.
08:30 a.m. - Departure from Málaga, following the Mediterranean coast.
09:30 a.m. - Puerto Banús (Marbella). We’ll have time to stroll around one of Spain´s most exclusive and luxurious marinas, a popular destination for celebrities. Its docks are lined with luxury yachts, and the surrounding area features high-end designer boutiques.
10:45 a.m. - Departure from Puerto Banús. We’ll continue our journey through beautiful scenery toward the Andalusian mountains.
12:00 p.m. - Ronda. We’ll arrive in one of the most picturesque cities in Andalusia, perched on a deep gorge known as El Tajo, which splits the city in two. You’ll have time to explore, enjoy a traditional included lunch, and visit the bullring (admission inlcuded), famous for being one of the oldest and most spectacular in Spain, inaugurated in 1785.
03:00 p.m. - Departure from Ronda.
03:30 p.m. - Setenil de las Bodegas. We’ll have time for a walk and a coffee in this spectacular white village embedded in the rock, known for its cave houses.
05:00 p.m. - Departure from Setenil de las Bodegas.
05:30 p.m. - Olvera. We’ll stop in this picturesque village in the Sierra de Cádiz. Highlights include its 12th-century Moorish castle and neoclassical church. The cobblestone streets and whitewashed houses with balconies filled with flowers are a classic Andalusian scene. Admission to the castle and museum is included, offering insights into the history and lifestyle of Andalusian villages in the early 20th century.

Scenery: Highlights include a small sea crossing and a passage over the suspension bridge.
We´ll be in the heart of Andalusia. Jerez is famous for its wine tradition, but it’s also a center of Andalusian equestrian culture and the birthplace of flamenco. After breakfast, we’ll photograph the exterior of the Moorish Alcázar, then visit the Andalusian Flamenco Center, where we’ll learn about flamenco, a fundamental part of Jerez´s cultural identity, with deep gypsy roots. Afterward, we’ll visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art (admission included), where we’ll tour the harness museum, see the Andalusian horses in their stables, and observe their training.
12:30 p.m. - Departure from Jerez.
01:00 p.m. - Puerto de Santa María. We’ll discover this seafaring city, famous for its wines and gastronomy, especially seafood and fresh fish. Admission to the Bodegas Osborne, known for their iconic bull logo, is included, with a guided tour, a walk through the Toro Gallery, and a tasting of their wines. You’ll have free time to stroll around and enjoy lunch. We recommend dining at the restaurants on the Ribera del Marisco.
04:00 p.m. - Departure from Puerto de Santa María. We’ll take a boat for a half-hour trip to Cádiz. Enjoy the sea!
04:30 p.m. - Cádiz. Free time in one of the oldest cities in Europe, founded by the Phoenicians. Its historic center, known as “La Habana Chica” due to its striking resemblance to the Cuban capital, is of great beauty, with lively squares, narrow streets, and a stunning cathedral.
07:00 p.m. - Departure from Cádiz. In the late afternoon, we’ll leave the city, crossing the magnificent suspension bridge towards Seville.
08:30 p.m. - Seville. Arrival in the evening.

09:00 a.m. - Italica (admission included). We’ll visit this ancient Roman city, the birthplace of emperors Trajan and Hadrian. Its amphitheater, one of the largest in the Roman Empire, could hold 25,000 spectators. We’ll also explore its baths, mosaics, and ancient Roman domus.
10:30 a.m. - Departure from Italica.
12:00 p.m. - Palos de la Frontera. Arrival at the port from where Columbus´ ships set sail for America in 1492. We’ll visit La Rábida Monastery (admission included), where Columbus secured support for his expedition, and the Wharf of the Caravels (admission included), where we’ll see replicas of the ships that crossed the Atlantic more than 500 years ago.
02:00 p.m. - Departure from Palos de la Frontera.
02:30 p.m. - Huelva. We’ll have time for lunch in this provincial capital, neighboring Portugal and bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, known for its strong seafaring tradition. We recommend a stroll through Plaza de las Monjas in the historic center, or a visit to the town hall or the cathedral.
04:00 p.m. - Departure from Huelva. We’ll follow the Atlantic coastline, passing by the Doñana National Park, famous for its moving dunes, migratory birds, and unique wildlife, including endangered species like the Iberian lynx.
05:00 p.m. - El Rocío. We’ll visit this small village, renowned for its annual pilgrimage that attracts millions of pilgrims in honor of its virgin. The sandy streets and white houses create a charming rural and traditional atmosphere. We’ll visit the sanctuary and enjoy stunning views over Doñana.
06:00 p.m. - Departure from El Rocío.

Our visit to Seville will be truly memorable as we blend a bus and walking tour with a scenic boat ride along the Guadalquivir River, offering the best views of the city´s monuments and landmarks.
A local guide will enrich our experience with insights into the history and culture of Andalusia´s capital, starting our journey around nine in the morning. Highlights include the Cathedral and Giralda, Santa Cruz neighborhood, the Guadalquivir riverbanks, Torre del Oro, Maestranza Bullring, Cartuja Island (former Expo site and home to Isla Mágica amusement park), and María Luisa Park with its stunning Plaza de España. After the tour, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the Guadalquivir River offering stunning panoramic views (included). The tour, lasting approximately 3 hours including the boat ride, will conclude with free time in the afternoon. 11:30 a.m. - Mérida – Arrival in the capital of Extremadura. Admission is included to the Archaeological Ensemble of Mérida, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This site includes the largest Roman Theater and Amphitheater in the Iberian Peninsula, known for its excellent preservation and as a testament to the importance of entertainment in ancient Rome´s provinces. Mérida has a lively pedestrian historic center with many places to enjoy lunch.
03:30 p.m. – Departure from Mérida. We’ll pass through beautiful landscapes of large meadows as we cross into Portugal and enter the Alentejo region.
04:30 p.m. (Portuguese time) - Évora. We’ll arrive in the capital of Alentejo; one of Portugal´s oldest cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take time to stroll through the historic center, characterized by its whitewashed streets, cathedral, and old churches, offering a taste of southern Portugal.
06:30 p.m. – Departure from Évora.
08:00 p.m. - Lisbon - Arrival and accommodation.
Scenery: Attractive landscapes featuring whitewashed villages, mountain ranges, and castles.

09:00 a.m. – Departure from Seville. We’ll travel through pleasant landscapes of gentle mountains and vast pastures toward Extremadura.

Take time to stroll through the historic center, characterized by its whitewashed streets, cathedral, and old churches, offering a taste of southern Portugal.
06:30 p.m. – Departure from Évora.
08:00 p.m. - Lisbon - Arrival and accommodation.
Day 9: Lisbon.-
Sightseeing tour of Lisbon. In the morning, you’ll enjoy a city tour with a local guide lasting approximately 2 hours. You’ll get to know the Portuguese capital of the seven hills, with its charming alleys, iconic tiles, the feeling of "saudade," and the beautiful Atlantic light. Our tour will include stops at the following points: Eduardo VII Park, Baixa Pombalina (Marquis of Pombal Square, Rossio with views of São Jorge Castle and Alfama), Estrela neighborhood, Estrela Basilica, the Monument of the Discoveries, Belém Tower, and the Jerónimos Monastery. The visit will conclude in the city center. You´ll have free time in the afternoon to further explore the city. We recommend taking the Glória Funicular to visit Bairro Alto and the São Pedro viewpoint. Optionally, our guide will offer visits to the picturesque towns of Sintra, with its castle, and Cascais and Estoril by the seaside.
