Day 2: Warsaw – Lodz – Toruń - Gdansk
Total distance covered: 485 km.
Note: If the number of travelers from Warsaw to Toruń is very small, the journey may be made by train (we would provide transfers to the station, train tickets, and transfers in Toruń to join the rest of the group). We’ll arrive in Poland’s third-largest city, a major 19th-century industrial hub that fell into decline after the war and the socialist era but has since transformed into a city with a rich industrial heritage. We’ll visit the museum dedicated to the Jewish ghetto, the second largest during World War II, as well as its small train station (tickets included). After, you’ll have time to explore and enjoy lunch at Manufaktura, a vast shopping and entertainment complex housed in a former textile factory.

If you wish, you can visit his museum and birthplace.
