Itinerary

Day 1:
Welcome to Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

IMPORTANT:
-Please note that hotel check-in time is usually at 02:00 p.m. If you require earlier room availability, consider booking an additional night at the beginning of your trip.
-If you requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival at the hotel, but your trip guide will only contact you when the included activities begin. At the reception, you will find an information board with our staff’s telephone number and hours of assistance. Until then, you have free time to enjoy at your leisure. The hotel staff can assist you with any information you need.
-During your trip, your guide may offer optional activities. If these activities are available on the Europamundo app or through your "My Trip" link, we strongly recommend booking them as early as possible to ensure availability. Waiting until the last minute may result in missed opportunities due to limited tickets, bus seats, or other factors.

Note: The schedules provided in this itinerary are indicative. The guide may adjust them as needed to enhance the trip experience.
Day 2: Dublin
Dublin – Panoramic tour of the city. Our guide will tell us all about Dublin´s rich history, including its Georgian neighborhoods, bustling city center streets, and the University. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore the Irish capital at your leisure. You can stroll along the banks of the River Liffey, visit various museums, or explore the famous Guinness Storehouse (admission not included).


Note: Occasionally, depending on our arrival time in Dublin and the daylight hours, the tour may take place the previous afternoon.



Day 3: Dublin - Caernarfon - Liverpool
Total distance covered: 200 km.


Scenery: We’ll pass through Wales, enjoying beautiful maritime landscapes along the Irish Sea. Remember to keep your passport handy, as it may be required to enter the United Kingdom.


06:45 a.m. - Departure from the hotel to board the modern ferry, which departs at 08:05 a.m. The crossing will take approximately three and a half hours. Occasionally, due to technical reasons or bad weather, we may take a different ferry. In which case, the schedule will be adjusted accordingly.


11:30 a.m. – We’ll disembark in Holyhead, a port on an island in North Wales.


12:15 p.m. - Caernarfon. After crossing the Britannia Bridge, we’ll arrive at this coastal town, a World Heritage Site, featuring a spectacular castle that dominates the bay and medieval streets. This is where heirs to the British throne, such as the Prince of Wales, have been crowned since the 14th century. Enjoy some time to explore and have lunch.


01:30 p.m. - Departure from Caernarfon. We’ll follow the coast towards England.
04:30 p.m. - Liverpool. Enjoy a short bus tour through this World Heritage Site with the second-largest port in the United Kingdom, famous for the Beatles. We recommend visiting the Beatles Museum (admission not included).





Day 4: Liverpool - Chester - Lichfield - Birmingham
Total distance covered: 224 km.

Scenery: Pleasant landscapes, English countryside, and historic cities.

09:00 a.m. - Liverpool. After breakfast, we’ll continue our route.
09:45 a.m. - Chester. Located on the border with Wales, this city of Roman origin still preserves its impressive medieval walls. The historic center is known for its beauty, featuring the unique “Rows”: covered shopping arcades dating back to the Middle Ages. You’ll have time to stroll around and, if you wish, visit the cathedral and the Roman amphitheater.

11:45 a.m. - Departure from Chester.
01:45 p.m. - Lichfield. We’ll stop for lunch in this charming and picturesque city. Its historic center, with cobbled streets and heritage buildings, is truly stunning. Notable highlights include the medieval cathedral with its iconic three spires.

04:00 p.m. - Departure from Lichfield.
04:30 p.m. - Birmingham. Arrival in the United Kingdom´s second-largest city, which played a key role during the Industrial Revolution. Today, it’s a vibrant economic and cultural hub. We recommend exploring the area around the town hall and the canals, which form a network more extensive than Venice’s. Originally developed to transport raw materials and goods during the Industrial Revolution, the canal area has been revitalized and now boasts numerous restaurants and entertainment venues.
Day 5: Birmingham – Stratford-upon-Avon – Stow-on-the-Wold – Gloucester - Bath
Total distance covered: 217 km.

Scenery: Beautiful rural landscapes, forests, small roads, and picturesque villages along the way.

08:00 a.m. – Departure from Birmingham.
09:15 a.m. - Stratford-upon-Avon. Stop to visit this charming town, famous as the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Founded in the 12th century, Stratford has retained its historic charm with cobblestone streets and Tudor-era architecture. You’ll have time to explore the town, located along the banks of the River Avon, offering lovely views of parks and canals. If you’re interested, you can visit Shakespeare’s birthplace.

11:30 a.m. - Departure from Stratford. We’ll continue our journey through a region of delightful landscapes and villages.
12:15 p.m. - Stow-on-the-Wold. We’ll discover this enchanting village with its stone houses, central square, tea rooms, art galleries, and antique shops. It’s the quintessential English countryside village.

01:15 p.m. - Departure from Stow-on-the-Wold.
02:00 p.m. - Gloucester. Time for lunch at “the docks,” the former industrial port now transformed into a lively tourist area with restaurants. After lunch, you can explore the historic city center, founded by the Romans in the 1st century, its streets and the cathedral, where several scenes from the Harry Potter films were shot.

05:30 p.m. - Departure from Gloucester.
07:00 p.m. - Bath. Late afternoon arrival in this vibrant and popular tourist city, known for its natural hot springs and stunning Georgian architecture. You’ll have the option to visit the Roman baths if you wish.
Day 6: Bath – Stonehenge - Salisbury – London
Total distance covered: 209 km.

You’ll have some time in Bath to visit the Roman baths if you wish.

10:30 a.m. - Departure from Bath. We’ll continue our journey through southern England.
11:30 a.m. - Stonehenge (admission included). Arrival at one of the world’s most iconic prehistoric monuments. This circle of massive stones, some weighing over 25 tons, was built between 3000 and 2000 B.C., and its purpose remains a mystery.

01:30 p.m. - Departure from Stonehenge.
02:00 p.m. - Salisbury. Time for lunch in the charming medieval town center. We’ll visit its impressive cathedral (admission included), home to the tallest spire in England and one of the four original copies of the Magna Carta from 1215.

05:00 p.m. - Departure from Salisbury.
07:30 p.m. - London. Arrival in the evening.
Day 7: London
In the early morning, we’ll start a panoramic tour with a local guide. The sites may vary depending on the local guides, traffic and the weather. The specific sites visited may vary depending on the local guide, traffic conditions, and weather. During the tour, you’ll see Hyde Park, Oxford Street, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London, River Thames, Piccadilly Circus, the Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, where you may have the chance to witness the famous Changing of the Guard, depending on the time of year.


The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace. Our guide will offer an optional excursion to Windsor Castle.


6:30 p.m. - In the evening, we’ll meet at Piccadilly Circus to take a stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, areas known for their vibrant atmosphere, theaters, and entertainment. Enjoy dinner at a restaurant of your choice, offering options such as Indian, Chinese, Thai, or international cuisine. After dinner, we’ll return to the hotel.
Day 8: London - Colchester - Ferry
Total distance covered: 170 km.

Scenery: Pleasant hill landscapes.

Notes:
-Please have your passport ready, as it will be required to leave the UK. When entering the Netherlands, we’ll set our watches forward one hour.
-We have a night crossing, so pack anything you´ll need on the ferry in a carry-on suitcase.

In the morning, we’ll visit the British Museum, one of the oldest and most renowned museums in the world, showcasing artifacts from cultures across the globe. Our guide will help you find your way to the different galleries. We especially recommend visiting the ancient Egypt section.

At lunchtime, we’ll provide a transfer to Camden, a district renowned for its vibrant and eclectic street market. There, you can explore unique items and artifacts from around the globe and enjoy lunch at one of its little restaurants or food stands.

4:00 p.m. - Departure from London.
6:45 p.m. - Arrival in Colchester, known as the oldest town in England. You’ll have time to explore and enjoy the town.

8:45 p.m. - Departure from Colchester.
9:30 p.m. - In Harwich, we’ll board a modern ferry equipped with all the amenities of a cruise ship for a night voyage to the Netherlands. Accommodation will be in cabins with private bathrooms. The ferry is scheduled to depart at 11:00 p.m.

Important note: Due to the limited number of cabins available on the ferry, the itinerary may be adjusted. On some occasions, we might travel from London to Amsterdam via a daytime ferry, departing around 5:00 p.m. and spending the night in Antwerp, including a short walk through the city before accommodation. For bookings made at shorter notice, we may instead travel to Amsterdam by train or plane, including transfers.
Day 9: Ferry - Volendam - Amsterdam
Total distance covered: 130 km.

Scenery: Dutch landscapes, plains, canals, windmills…

08:30 a.m. - Arrival at Hoek van Holland and continuation of the journey.
10:00 a.m. - Volendam, a charming fishing village. You’ll have time to wander around.

01:30 p.m. - Departure from Volendam.
02:00 p.m. - Amsterdam. We’ll go on a city tour with a local guide, lasting about two hours. We’ll start the tour with a stop in front of the Rembrandt Statue and Amsterdam Mill, one of the most iconic mills in Holland. Next, we’ll pass through the RAI Convention Center, crossing the southern part of the city, the most exclusive area of Amsterdam. We’ll then stop at the Museum Square to learn about diamond cutting techniques at the Diamond Museum. Afterwards, we’ll head to the Amstel River, entering the former Jewish Quarter with its Holocaust Memorial and the Portuguese Synagogue. We’ll pass by the old harbor and the Maritime Museum. Our tour will conclude at the Central Station, where we’ll leave the bus and walk to the Church of St. Nicholas, the heart of the city. The tour ends here, and you’ll have some free time to explore on your own.


In the evening, we’ll provide a transfer to Rembrandtplein, known for its wide variety of restaurants offering cuisine from around the world. Here, you can enjoy dinner at your leisure and explore the nearby Red Light District, celebrated for its progressive values.


08:30 p.m. - Transfer back to the hotel.


Day 10: Amsterdam - Bruges - Paris
Total distance covered: 550 km.


Scenery: Sweeping agricultural landscapes and several highly populated cities along the route.


08:30 a.m. - Departure from Amsterdam to Belgium.
11:45 a.m. - Arrival in Bruges, a charming medieval city often referred to as the "Venice of the North" because of its picturesque canals. The city has a magical atmosphere with its cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and romantic bridges. If you’d like, you can climb the Belfry Tower for stunning views. How about trying some Belgian chocolate? Or perhaps you´d prefer a local craft beer?


04:00 p.m. - Departure from Bruges, continuing on to France.
08:15 p.m. - Paris.
Day 11: Paris
Total distance covered: 80 km.


07:45 a.m. - Departure from Paris.
08:30 a.m. - Versailles. Arrival to the Palace of Versailles (tickets not included; please note that there may be long lines to enter due to the large number of visitors). This grand palace, once the residence of French kings, offers a fascinating glimpse into the culture and history of France.


11:30 a.m. - Departure from Versailles. Departure time may vary if there are delays entering the palace. Upon returning to Paris, we’ll head to Montmartre. We’ll take a cable car (included) up to this bohemian artists’ district, where we can admire the Sacré Coeur Basilica and wander through its picturesque square and winding alleys.

03:00 p.m. - We’ll start a two-and-a-half-hour panoramic tour of Paris with a local guide. This tour will take us to iconic landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, La Madeleine, Place de la Concorde, the Opera, the Louvre, the Tour Saint-Jacques, the City Hall, Île de la Cité with Notre-Dame, the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne, the Luxembourg Garden, Les Invalides, the École militaire, Champ de Mars, the Eiffel Tower and the banks of the Seine. We’ll have brief stops near Les Invalides and Champ de Mars. After the tour, we’ll return to the hotel, with an optional stop in the city center for those who want to enjoy more free time in Paris.


At the end of this enriching day, the guide will suggest an optional evening outing to a cabaret or variety show, such as the Moulin Rouge or Paradis Latin.


Note: Due to the high volume of tourism in Paris, the order of the services offered in the city may vary.


Day 12: Paris
08:30 a.m. - Departure from the hotel. We’ll head to the Eiffel Tower, where tickets to the second floor are included (please note that there may be long waits due to the high number of visitors). The second floor offers the best views, providing an optimal altitude for seeing the city below (which is less visible from the third floor) and offers a better overall perspective compared to the first floor. From this vantage point, you can see up to 70 km on a clear day. After descending the tower, we’ll enjoy a scenic boat trip along the Seine River, offering stunning views of Paris´ iconic monuments and bridges. This journey lasts approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. Afterward, you’ll have some free time.


Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.



Our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful and lasting memories.

Please, check the time of your flight in case you might need an additional night. Our guide will advise you on the best public transportation for your transfers.

If you need to book an external service (like a plane or train) on the last day of your tour, which includes activities, please note that the detailed itineraries are based on "planned" schedules and could be affected by various factors such as traffic, customer delays, mechanical issues, etc. It´s advisable not to book a flight or train with a tight schedule without considering these factors. Always allocate extra time in your schedule for unexpected events.
