Day 1: Rome
IMPORTANT:
-Please note that hotel check-in time is usually at 02:00 p.m. If you require earlier room availability, consider booking an additional night at the beginning of your trip.
-If you requested additional nights, your room will be ready upon arrival at the hotel, but your trip guide will only contact you when the included activities begin. At the reception, you will find an information sign with our staff’s telephone number and hours of assistance. Until then, you have free time to enjoy at your leisure. The hotel staff can assist you with any information you need.

WELCOME TO ROME!


Upon arrival, we’ll provide a transfer from the airport to your hotel. Information about the start of your tour will be provided in the afternoon or can be found on the informational signs at the hotel reception.


7:00 p.m. - Transfer to Via Cavour, a wonderful introduction to Rome. Here, you can enjoy a variety of restaurants offering Italian, Indian, Chinese, and international cuisine. Afterward, we’ll provide a return transfer to the hotel.


Day 2: Rome
08:30 a.m. - This morning, we’ll begin our city tour, offering a perfect introduction to the Eternal City. We’ll visit the small but significant Vatican City, a major center of Christianity worldwide. You’ll have the chance to explore St. Peter’s Basilica. Our tour will continue to the Imperial Forums (tickets included), a remarkable collection of buildings and monumental squares that were once the hub of political activity.


06:30 p.m. - In the evening, we’ll head to the Trastevere area. As we stroll through the narrow, cobbled streets of Trastevere, we’ll discover hidden gems like quaint medieval churches, unique shops, and vibrant local scenes. Many trattorias and osterias, brimming with Italian charm, are ready to serve you local dishes. You’ll also find restaurants offering Indian, Chinese, and other international cuisines in this lively area.


08:30 p.m. – Return to the hotel.
Day 3: Rome - Florence
Total distance covered: 320 km.


Scenery: Apennine Mountains and Tuscan vineyards.


Note: We recommend wearing comfortable shoes as the Florence tour involves walking.


08:00 a.m. - Depart from Rome, traveling through the Tiber Valley.
12:15 p.m. - Arrival in Florence, with our first stop at Piazzale Michelangelo, a viewpoint with spectacular city views. Don’t forget your camera! We’ll then take a two-and-a-half-hour walking tour with a local guide, visiting the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, Straw Market, Piazza della Repubblica, and Palazzo Vecchio. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city’s historic markets and museums.


Florence offers a wide range of restaurants serving both local and international cuisine for dinner. After enjoying your meal, we’ll return to the hotel.


Day 4: Florence - Venice
Total distance covered: 310 km.

Scenery: We’ll cross the Apennines and the Po Valley.

08:15 a.m. - Departure from Florence, enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery along the way.
12:00 p.m. – Arrival in Venice at Tronchetto terminal. From there, we´ll take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the island. Enjoy a guided tour around St. Mark’s Square. We´ll also visit the Murano Glass Factory to see a demonstration of traditional glassmaking techniques. The afternoon will be free for you to explore at your leisure.

07:30 p.m. - Return to the mainland and transfer to the hotel. We’ll be staying in the Mestre district.

Day 5: Venice - Innsbruck - Zurich
Total distance covered: 680 km.

Scenery: Stunning alpine landscapes, including lakes and snow-capped mountains.

Note: Remember to bring your passport, as it may be required when crossing into Switzerland.

08:00 a.m. – Departure from Venice, traveling across the Po Valley en route to Austria.
01:00 p.m. – Innsbruck. Time to explore the historic town center and enjoy lunch.

04:00 p.m. – Departure from Innsbruck. We’ll continue our journey through the beautiful Tyrolean landscapes as we cross into Switzerland.
07:30 p.m. - Zurich.
Day 6: Zurich - Grindelwald - Lucerne - Zurich
Total distance covered: 280 km.

Note: Wear warm clothing and comfortable walking shoes and be sure to bring your camera. Please be aware that the cable car may not operate at certain times due to weather conditions (strong winds) or maintenance. If this happens, we will provide alternative transportation to a similar location.

07:30 a.m. - Departure from Zurich for a scenic journey through stunning landscapes featuring tall mountains and lakes.
10:00 a.m. - Grindelwald. Enjoy a coffee break in this mountain resort in the Bernese Alps before taking the cable car to Grindelwald-First (tickets included), the largest ski area in the region. We’ll embark on a 30-minute walk along a path that offers breathtaking alpine views, including the "footbridge over the void," where you can marvel at the surrounding glaciers. Lunch is included for all passengers (vegetarian option available).

01:45 p.m. - Departure from Grindelwald, continuing on to Lucerne.
03:30 p.m. - Lucerne. You’ll have time to explore this charming Swiss city, including the Kapellbrücke, the covered bridge over the Reuss River, the Town Hall and Square with its Clock Tower, and the pedestrian streets filled with elegant shops. Enjoy a stroll through the city and dine before we head back to the hotel in Zurich.

05:30 p.m. - Departure from Lucerne to return to Zurich.
06:30 p.m. - Zurich. We’ll arrive at the shores of Lake Zurich and have free time to explore the monumental city center before heading to the hotel.
08:00 p.m. - Transfer to the hotel.

Note: The guide will offer an optional full-day excursion, starting in the morning. After some free time in Lucerne, we’ll take a rotating cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis. At over 3,000 meters above sea level, the alpine summit offers breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps.
Day 7: Zurich - Strasbourg - Paris
Total distance covered: 705 km.

Scenery: Green landscapes and extensive crops, with views of the Rhine Valley.

07:30 a.m. - Departure from Zurich, heading towards the French region of Alsace.
10:30 a.m. - Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace. You´ll have time to explore this charming city on the banks of the Rhine, renowned for its medieval streets, half-timbered houses and canals that blend French and German influences. Today, Strasbourg is home to several EU institutions, symbolizing the cooperation and unity of its people.

02:15 p.m. - Departure from Strasbourg. We’ll pass through the region where Champagne is produced.
08:45 p.m. - Paris.
Day 8: Paris
Total distance covered: 80 km.


07:45 a.m. - Departure from Paris.
08:30 a.m. - Versailles. Arrival to the Palace of Versailles (tickets not included; please note that there may be long lines to enter due to the large number of visitors). This grand palace, once the residence of French kings, offers a fascinating glimpse into the culture and history of France.


11:30 a.m. - Departure from Versailles. Departure time may vary if there are delays entering the palace. Upon returning to Paris, we’ll head to Montmartre. We’ll take a cable car (included) up to this bohemian artists’ district, where we can admire the Sacré Coeur Basilica and wander through its picturesque square and winding alleys.

03:00 p.m. - We’ll start a two-and-a-half-hour panoramic tour of Paris with a local guide. This tour will take us to iconic landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, La Madeleine, Place de la Concorde, the Opera, the Louvre, the Tour Saint-Jacques, the City Hall, Île de la Cité with Notre-Dame, the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne, the Luxembourg Garden, Les Invalides, the École militaire, Champ de Mars, the Eiffel Tower and the banks of the Seine. We’ll have brief stops near Les Invalides and Champ de Mars. After the tour, we’ll return to the hotel, with an optional stop in the city center for those who want to enjoy more free time in Paris.


At the end of this enriching day, the guide will suggest an optional evening outing to a cabaret or variety show, such as the Moulin Rouge or Paradis Latin.


Note: Due to the high volume of tourism in Paris, the order of the services offered in the city may vary.


Day 9: Paris - Rouen
Total distance covered: 140 km.

08:30 a.m. - Departure from the hotel. We’ll head to the Eiffel Tower, where tickets to the second floor are included (please note that there may be long waits due to the high number of visitors). The second floor offers the best views, providing an optimal altitude for seeing the city below (which is less visible from the third floor) and offers a better overall perspective compared to the first floor. From this vantage point, you can see up to 70 km on a clear day. After descending the tower, we’ll enjoy a scenic boat trip along the Seine River, offering stunning views of Paris´ iconic monuments and bridges. This journey lasts approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. Afterward, you’ll have some free time.

04:00 p.m. - We’ll depart from Paris and head to Rouen.
06:15 p.m. - Rouen. Enjoy free time to explore and dine in the historic center of Normandy’s capital. This vibrant city, with roots dating back to Roman times, boasts charming medieval architecture and an impressive Gothic cathedral.

08:45 p.m. - Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.

Note: If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are too long, we might reschedule the visit to a different time (or on Sunday) for your convenience.

Day 10: Rouen - Canterbury - London
Total Distance: 375 km.

Scenery: Great plains in France, a charming boat trip, and green hills in England.

Notes:
-Remember to have your passport ready, as you´ll need it to cross the British border.
-We recommend wearing warm clothing during the crossing.
-Don´t forget to set your watch back one hour when entering the UK.
-The currency in the UK is the Pound; we suggest changing your money on the ferry.

08:00 a.m. – Departure from Rouen. We’ll head north through France.
11:00 a.m. - Port of Calais. We’ll board the ferry to cross into the United Kingdom at around 12:30 p.m. and go through customs and border checks. The ferry journey lasts approximately one and a half hours. You’ll travel on a modern ferry equipped with all the amenities, including restaurants, bars, lounges, game rooms, exchange offices, and shops.

01:30 p.m. (02:30 p.m. in France) - Dover. Upon arrival, we’ll disembark and make our way to Canterbury. Please note that this schedule is indicative, and the actual arrival time may vary depending on ferry availability.
02:15 p.m. - Canterbury. Enjoy free time to explore this beautiful medieval city, renowned for its impressive cathedral and vibrant streets lined with traditional architecture.

03:45 p.m. –Departure from Canterbury.
05:15 p.m. - London. We´ll arrive and stop at one of the city´s most iconic landmarks, Tower Bridge. This Victorian-era drawbridge, built to connect the two banks of the Thames, is now surrounded by the city´s modern buildings.

06:30 p.m. - Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.
Day 11: London
In the early morning, we’ll start a panoramic tour with a local guide. The sites may vary depending on the local guides, traffic and the weather. The specific sites visited may vary depending on the local guide, traffic conditions, and weather. During the tour, you’ll see Hyde Park, Oxford Street, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London, River Thames, Piccadilly Circus, the Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, where you may have the chance to witness the famous Changing of the Guard, depending on the time of year.


The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace. Our guide will offer an optional excursion to Windsor Castle.


6:30 p.m. - In the evening, we’ll meet at Piccadilly Circus to take a stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho, areas known for their vibrant atmosphere, theaters, and entertainment. Enjoy dinner at a restaurant of your choice, offering options such as Indian, Chinese, Thai, or international cuisine. After dinner, we’ll return to the hotel.
Day 12: London - Cambridge - York - Durham
Total distance covered: 480 km.

Scenery: Picturesque countryside with hills and woods.

07:30 a.m. - Departure from London. We’ll head north, traveling through the English countryside.
10:00 a.m. - Cambridge. You’ll have time to admire the beautiful colleges.

12:00 p.m. - Departure from Cambridge. We’ll continue north, passing through agricultural fields and the legendary Sherwood Forest, former home of Robin Hood. We’ll stop at a service area for lunch.
03:30 p.m. - York. We’ll see the ancient Roman walls and walk towards the cathedral. You’ll have time to explore the lively shopping streets.

05:30 p.m. - Departure from York. We’ll resume our journey north.
07:30 p.m. - Durham. This impressive medieval city invites you to stroll its cobbled streets and discover its cathedral and castle, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Accommodation.
Day 13: Durham - Alnwick - Edinburgh
Total distance covered: 230 km.


Scenery: Beautiful castles and sea views as we cross into Scotland.


08:30 a.m. - Departure from Durham. We’ll travel to the north of England, skirting the edge of Newcastle.
09:45 a.m. - Arrival in Alnwick. This medieval town is dominated by its large castle and beautiful gardens, famously featured in the Harry Potter films. Enjoy time to visit the castle (admission not included) or stroll around.
Note: The castle is closed during winter months (01 October-31 March).


11:15 a.m. - Departure from Alnwick. We’ll cross into Scotland.
01:15 p.m. - Edinburgh. As Scotland’s capital and one of the most vibrant cities in Northern Europe, Edinburgh’s monumental center has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle overlooks the city’s steep streets and parks. The city comes to life in the summertime during the "Edinburgh Festival" and its various shows. You will have free time at leisure.


05:30 p.m. – Panoramic city tour with a local guide (occasionally, this tour may be done upon arrival in the city). Afterwards, we will provide a transfer to the hotel.



Day 14: Edinburgh - Pitlochry - Inverness - Loch Ness - Glasgow
Total distance covered: 530 km.

Scenery: Magnificent scenery of towering, often snow-capped mountains and deep, serene lakes. Keep your camera handy.

Note: We recommend you take warm clothing with you to fully enjoy the boat trip. Timetables for this section may change depending on the schedule for crossing Loch Ness. Adverse weather conditions may sometimes prevent the boat trip.

07:30 a.m. - Departure from Edinburgh. We’ll head towards the Northern Highlands of Scotland, crossing the bridge above River Forth. Along the way, we’ll see the unique Highland Cattle.
09:30 a.m. - Pitlochry. Enjoy a stroll and a coffee in this charming Victorian village.

10:00 a.m. - Departure from Pitlochry. We’ll travel through the Eastern Highlands, enjoying the beautiful landscapes of Cairngorms National Park and passing through Inverness.
01:45 p.m. - Brachla (Clansman Harbor). Take some time to capture photographs and perhaps spot the legendary Nessie. Around 02:00 p.m., we’ll embark on a boat trip on Loch Ness (included). We’ll visit Urquhart Castle, exploring the ruins of this imposing medieval fortress overlooking the lake (admission included).

03:00 p.m. – We’ll continue our journey, skirting lakes and passing high, and sometimes snowy, mountains. Along the way, we’ll go through Fort Augustus and Fort William, a tourist hub at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest summit in the United Kingdom. We’ll also enjoy stunning views across Glencoe. Our final lake will be the picturesque Loch Lomond.
08:00 p.m. - Glasgow.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Groups arriving in Edinburgh from the 15th of November until the end of February will follow this adjusted itinerary due to the shorter days and frequent snow on the roads:

08:00 a.m. - Departure from Edinburgh to Pitlochry (09:45 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.), a picturesque city in the heart of the Scottish region known for its whisky production. We will visit a traditional whisky distillery (admission included). Our journey will continue to Stirling (12:30 p.m. - 03:30 p.m.), with its impressive historic center dominated by the grand Stirling Castle (tickets included). This castle is one of the most significant in Scotland, having witnessed numerous historical events, including battles and the coronation of several kings. After some time for lunch, we’ll stop to photograph The Kelpies, enormous sculptures of two horse heads inspired by Scottish mythology. Finally, we’ll continue to Glasgow. We’ll arrive at around 05:00 p.m. with time to stroll through the city center.
Day 15: Glasgow - Belfast - Dublin
Total distance covered: 295 km.

Scenery: Seaside, hills, and woods.

Note: Remember to keep your passport handy; you may need when we embark. Both Scotland and Northern Ireland print their own banknotes, which work fine in their regions but are often not accepted in England and can’t be exchanged internationally. In other words, you won’t be able to exchange any leftover Scottish or Irish pound bills outside the United Kingdom. Make sure you don’t have any remaining bills when you leave Scotland or after passing through Belfast. Please note that timetables for this part of the journey may vary depending on the ferry.

08:00 a.m. - Departure from Glasgow. We will start with a short bus ride out of the city, traveling to the west coast of Scotland. In Cairnryan, we will board a modern ferry to Ireland, which typically departs at 11:30 a.m. The crossing will take just over two hours. The ferry will offer modern amenities, including shops and bars where you can enjoy lunch.
01:45 p.m. - Arrival in Belfast, a city known for its Victorian architecture and the complex history between Protestants and Catholics. We’ll see the famous murals dividing the Catholic and Protestant neighborhoods from the bus. Afterwards, you will have free time in the city center.

04:30 p.m. - Departure from Belfast. We’ll continue our journey to the Republic of Ireland.
06:30 p.m. - Arrival at the hotel in Dublin.
Day 16: Dublin
Dublin – Panoramic tour of the city. Our guide will tell us all about Dublin´s rich history, including its Georgian neighborhoods, bustling city center streets, and the University. Enjoy free time in the afternoon to explore the Irish capital at your leisure. You can stroll along the banks of the River Liffey, visit various museums, or explore the famous Guinness Storehouse (admission not included).


Note: Occasionally, depending on our arrival time in Dublin and the daylight hours, the tour may take place the previous afternoon.



Day 17:
After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.

Note: Please be aware that the hotel check-out time is usually 10:00 a.m. You can leave your luggage in reception upon check-out, allowing you to explore the city without carrying your bags. You can retrieve your luggage at your convenience later in the day. If you require additional time to use your room, we recommend booking an extra night at the end of your tour.
