Itinerary

Day 1: Madrid - Arrival.
Welcome to Madrid!
Welcome to Europamundo!!!


IMPORTANT -IF YOU REQUESTED
ADDITIONAL NIGHTS upon arrival at the hotel, you would have your room booked,
but your trip guide would normally contact you at the beginning of the included
activities. YOUR TIME THEREFORE BEFORE THIS MOMENT IS FREE. The hotel staff can help you with all the information you need.

Note: The schedules that you will find in this itinerary are indicative. The guide, depending on the situation and in order to improve the development of the trip, may adjust the schedules.
Upon arrival at the airport, we shall be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the informative panels in the hotel reception area for the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers to receive information about the trip.

In the evening we provide transfers to the Plaza Mayor and La Latina, Madrid´s most famous area for night life and tapas restaurants, where you can dine at your preferred restaurant: Indian, Chinese, Spanish and Middle Eastern are some of the options.






Day 2: Madrid.
The day starts around 08.30 hrs with a city tour through the centre of Madrid, including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor.

We will visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Entrance to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, the football stadium of Real Madrid. We get to know the areas reserved for the players as well as the public areas and the small museum about this team, considered by some as the best in the world.

Enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

At the end of the evening, we will return to the hotel.

Day 3: Madrid - Zaragoza - Poblet - Barcelona.
Total distance: 640Km
Scenery: Varied. Abrupt in some sections, very arid in others, Mediterranean at the end.

07:30h Madrid – Departure. We will make a brief stop on our way.
12:30h Zaragoza – Arrival. Our guide provides with the orientative information about the city of Zaragoza, leaving you next to the Pilar Square to visit the basilica and have lunch.

14:30 hrs. -Zaragoza - Departure.
17:00 hrs. – Monastery of Poblet (entrance included). We will make a stop to see this beautiful medieval monastery, which, surrounded by its walls in a beautiful setting, is one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world.

18:15 hrs. – Monastery of Poblet - Departure.- We cross rich agricultural regions of central Catalonia.
20:00 hrs. - Barcelona - Arrival.
Day 4: Barcelona.

09:00 h. -
City tour with our guide or the local guide of Barcelona, famous for Gaudí and its modernist architecture. We will see the Columbus monument, Plaza de Cataluña, Paseo de Gracia, Diagonal, Sagrada Familia, Montjuich with the Olympic facilities and Plaza de España. We finish at the Ramblas area. You can have a walk in the historic center - Gothic quarter. After the city tour our guide will offer you optionally the visit to the Gaudí´s masterpiece and emblem of the city, the Sagrada Familia. Free time in the afternoon.

18.30 hrs- In the evening we include a transfer to the Maremagnum, a modern leisure center and restaurants facing the sea, next to Plaza Colón, where you can stroll through this lively area and dine.
20.30 hrs- Return to hotel.
Day 5: Barcelona - Peniscola - Valencia.-
Total distance: 375 km

Scenery: following the Levantine coast between the Mediterranean Sea and arid landscapes dotted by orchards, citrus and rice fields, arriving in Valencia.

08:00 h. - Barcelona – departure. We travel to the Valencian Community along the touristy Levantine coast.
10:45 h. - Peñiscola – Dominating the sea with its powerful walls, its historic center with steep streets, white houses and medieval castle. The history tells us about Popes and pirates. Peñíscola is one of the most beautiful towns in the Spanish Mediterranean. Time for a walk.
12:30 h. - Peñiscola – Departure.
14:30 h. - Valencia – Arrival and time for lunch. Why don´t you try the authentic Valencian Paella? In the afternoon we will make a visit with a local guide of this port city on the Levantine coast, with more than 2000 years of history that dot its urban layout with monuments from all periods that contrast with the architectural avant-garde of buildings such as the City of the Arts and Sciences. Free time.





Day 6: Valencia - Alicante - Caravaca de la Cruz - Granada.
Total distance: 536 km
Scenery: Presence of the sea. Fertile orchards and semi-deserts. Mountains in Andalucia.


08:30 hrs. - Valencia – We set out for the Region of Alicante.
10:45 hrs. - Alicante- Time to stroll in this active and very pleasant city by the sea.

14:00 hrs. - Alicante departure. After lunch we go on our way to the Murcia region.
16:00 hrs. - Caravaca – Free time to visit this small town, considered a Holy City by the Roman Catholic Church. Its church holds a relic of Christ’s Cross. We include a ride up to the historic area on the tourist train.

17:00 hrs. - Caravaca – We leave the city and pass through beautiful Andalusian scenery.
20:30 hrs. - Granada – Arrival at the end of the day.


Day 7: Granada.-
Full day in Granada. We recommend visiting the Cathedral, which houses the tomb of the Catholic Monarchs, or strolling through the Albaicín neighbourhood and enjoying the beautiful views of the Alhambra from the Mirador de San Nicolás.

Note: We remind you that the tour you have purchased does not include the entrance to the Alhambra in Granada. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, we suggest to do it through the website of the patronage: https://tickets.alhambra-patronato.es or through companies that organise visits to the city.


Day 8: Granada - Malaga - Marbella - Ronda - Seville
Total distance covered: 390 km.


Scenery: Beautiful landscapes by the sea. Mountains and white villages.


08:00 a.m. – Departure from Granada. We´ll travel towards the Mediterranean Sea.
10:00 a.m. - Malaga. We´ll have time to walk through the historic district, famous for its cathedral.


11:30 a.m. – Departure from Malaga. We´ll follow the coastal highway next to the sea.
12:30 p.m. - Puerto Banús. We’ll spend some time in this exclusive area of Marbella, in the heart of the Costa del Sol. Time to stroll along its marina and shopping streets.


03:00 p.m. – Departure from Marbella. We´ll leave the coastline and journey towards the Andalusian mountains, passing through beautiful towns with great views along the way.
04:30 p.m. – Ronda. A magical and peaceful white town, known for its alleys and the deep canyon that divides it. We´ll have time to walk, explore and take in the views.


06:00 p.m. – Departure from Ronda. We´ll continue through beautiful landscapes of hills and white villages.
08:00 p.m. – Seville. Arrival in the evening.
Day 9: Seville
Our visit to Seville will be truly memorable as we blend a bus and walking tour with a scenic boat ride along the Guadalquivir River, offering the best views of the city´s monuments and landmarks.


A local guide will enrich our experience with insights into the history and culture of Andalusia´s capital, starting our journey around nine in the morning. Highlights include the Cathedral and Giralda, Santa Cruz neighborhood, the Guadalquivir riverbanks, Torre del Oro, Maestranza Bullring, Cartuja Island (former Expo site and home to Isla Mágica amusement park), and María Luisa Park with its stunning Plaza de España. The tour, lasting approximately 3 hours including the boat ride, will conclude with free time in the afternoon. Optionally, the guide will offer the opportunity for those interested to visit the cathedral and attend a flamenco performance at a tablao in the evening.



Day 10: Seville - Córdoba - Consuegra - Madrid
Total distance covered: 565 km.


Scenery: Pleasant fertile lands of the Guadalquivir Valley. Castilian lands of La Mancha.


08:00 a.m. – Departure from Seville.
10:00 a.m. – Arrival in Córdoba. We’ll visit its great Mosque-Cathedral with a local guide (tickets included), walk through the old neighborhood with its famous patios full of flowers, and enter the Old Synagogue (tickets included). Afterwards, we’ll enjoy free time during which you can have lunch and stroll through the flower-filled Jewish quarter.


02:00 p.m. – Departure from Córdoba. We’ll leave Andalusia for the Castilian lands.
05:15 p.m. – Arrival in Consuegra. 12 giant windmills next to the castle overlook the La Mancha plain. We’ll visit the interior of one of them, the Rucio Mill, which once transformed wheat into flour (tickets included).


06:15 p.m. – Departure from Consuegra.
08:00 p.m. – Arrival in Madrid.


Day 11:
After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.

Note: Please be aware that the hotel check-out time is usually 10:00 a.m. You can leave your luggage in reception upon check-out, allowing you to explore the city without carrying your bags. You can retrieve your luggage at your convenience later in the day. If you require additional time to use your room, we recommend booking an extra night at the end of your tour.
