Itinerary

Day 1:
Welcome to Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.


IMPORTANT: Please note that hotel check-in time is typically at 14:00 p.m. If you need early room access, consider booking an additional night at the start of your trip.
If you have booked additional nights, your room will be prepared upon arrival, but your trip guide will generally only contact you when the scheduled activities begin. At reception, you’ll find a sign with contact details and assistance hours for our staff. Until the tour begins, your schedule is free, and the hotel staff can assist with any inquiries.


Optional activities: During your trip, your guide may offer optional activities. We recommend booking these activities well in advance through the Europamundo app or your "My Trip" link to ensure availability. Last-minute bookings may result in limited availability (e.g., tickets, coach seats).

Day 2: Athens
Athens, city tour and evening transfer.


We´ll embark on a city tour guided by a local expert, covering prominent sites such as the Presidential Mansion, the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held, the National Library, and the bustling squares of the city center. We´ll also explore the newer neighborhoods that developed after the 2004 Olympic Games. The tour will conclude at the Acropolis (admission not included).


In the evening, we´ll provide a transfer to the historical neighborhood of Plaka, renowned for its charming Greek tavernas and vibrant atmosphere where you can experience the rich folklore of this country.

Day 3: Athens - Tripoli - Olympia - Patras
Total distance covered: 411 km.


Landscapes: Beautiful sea views. Fantastic landscapes of the Meteora.


08:00 a.m. - Departure from Athens. We’ll travel to the Peloponnese region.
09:15 a.m. - Stop at the Corinth Canal, an impressive engineering marvel from the end of the nineteenth century that links the Isthmus of Corinth with the Aegean Sea, facilitating maritime transport.


09:30 a.m. - Departure from the Corinth Canal. Once on the Peloponnese peninsula, we’ll continue travelling through the mountains.
10:45 a.m. - Tripoli. We’ll stop in the vibrant capital of the Arcadia region, with time for a stroll around Aeros Square with its cafes and restaurants.


11:45 a.m. - Departure from Tripoli.
01:45 p.m. - Olympia. We’ll have time for lunch and then we’ll visit the archaeological site (admission and guided tour included), the place where the first Olympic Games were held in 776 B.C., with athletes from all over Greece and its colonies participating. Highlights include the Temple of Zeus, the Stadium, the Gymnasium, and the Arena. After the visit, you’ll have free time. If you wish, you can visit the museum (not included).


04:45 p.m. - Departure from Olympia. We’ll enjoy mountain landscapes and pass through some picturesque villages on our route.
06:45 p.m. - Patras. We’ll arrive in the third-largest city in Greece, a lively port city with a remarkable medieval fortress. Its cathedral is the largest church in Greece, and next to it is the small church of St. Andrew, a place of pilgrimage. Dinner will be included.



Day 4: Patras – Nafpaktos – Mycenae – Acrocorinth - Athens
Total distance covered: 325 km

08:30 a.m. – Departure from Patras. After breakfast, we’ll cross the Rio-Antirrio bridge, a spectacular cable-stayed bridge which connects the Peloponnese with the Greek mainland.
09:15 a.m. - Nafpaktos - Free time to walk around Nafpaktos, a town on the Gulf of Corinth. Its Venetian fortress overlooking the city is a reminder of its historical significance as Lepanto, where the Christian and Turkish fleets clashed in battle—a conflict during which the famous Cervantes lost his arm.


10:30 a.m. - Departure from Nafpaktos. We’ll resume our journey along the Gulf of Corinth.
01:00 p.m. - Mycenae - Arrival and free time to explore the colossal citadel from the 18th century BC, considered the cradle of European civilization (admission included).


03:30 p.m. - Departure from Mycenae after lunch.
04:15 p.m. - Acrocorinth – We’ll visit the immense fortress of Acrocorinth (tickets included). The foundations of an old temple of Aphrodite rest on the highest part of the settlement.


06:00 p.m. - Departure from Acrocorinth. We’ll continue our journey towards Athens with a brief stop at the Corinth Canal, an impressive 19th-century engineering feat that connects the Isthmus of Corinth to the Aegean Sea, facilitating maritime trade.
07:30 p.m. - Athens - Arrival.

Day 5:
Enjoy a free day to take in the charm of this city, exploring and discovering its memorable places.
Day 6: Athens - Mykonos - Overnight on board
After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the Lavrio Port, where we’ll board the ship “Celestyal Olympia” for a stunning cruise on the Aegean. The price includes full board on the cruise as well as all fees.


11:00 a.m. - Departure. Enjoy the breathtaking sea landscapes as we set sail.


06:00 p.m. - Expected arrival in Mykonos. Enjoy free time to explore this enchanting island, famous for its iconic windmills and charming white houses by the sea.


11:00 p.m. - Departure from Mykonos. You´ll spend the night on board, enjoying the ship´s amenities.





Day 7: Kusadasi - Patmos
Kusadasi - Patmos Cruise


Arrival in Kusadasi, Turkey, a stunning seaside resort on the Aegean coast. We recommend visiting the impressive classical ruins of Ephesus.


1:00 p.m. – We’ll depart for Patmos.


4:00 p.m. - Patmos. This island is where St. John the Apostle wrote the Apocalypse. You can visit the cave where he lived, located near the Monastery of the Apocalypse.


9:00 p.m. – Departure. Overnight on board.



Day 8: Rhodes - Overnight on board
Full Day Mediterranean Cruise

07:00 a.m. - Rhodes. This stunning walled city, often referred to as the "Island of Roses”, is full of life and history. During your stay, you will visit the Medieval City of Rhodes, including Lindos Acropolis and the Citadel of the Knights.

06:00 p.m. - Our cruise ship will set sail again. Night on board and time to enjoy the party!
Day 9: Heraklion- Santorini- Overnight on board.-
Full day Mediterranean Cruise.


07.00 Hrs.-Heraklion.- Arrival in the capital of the Greek island of Crete next to the archaeological remains of Knossos.
11.30 a.m.- Departure.
16.30 Hrs.- Santorini.- Probably the most impressive of the Mediterranean islands, its ravines, its white villages full of light, the breathtaking views over the sea.
At 21.00 hrs our cruise ship sails the sea again, night on board - enjoy the party on board-.


Day 10: Athens
06:30 a.m. - Upon arrival at the Port of Lavrio, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories. If you request additional nights in Athens, the transfer from the port to the hotel is not included and will be charged separately.

Note: If you arrive by ferry from Rhodes, your port of arrival will be Piraeus.
