Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style tour!

We leave around 8.30 hrs towards the north of Catalonia. Beautiful landscapes passing through the lake of Banyoles. We start the stage stopping at the historic BESALU, a small medieval town. With our guide we walk through its streets, its stone bridge, its castle, the Jewish baths, the church of the monastery of Saint Peter of Besalú and Saint Julian, old pilgrim hospital. We follow FIGUERAS where we visit the Dalí Museum (entrance included), great Catalan artist; we will experience both his work and surrealist thought. We continue to the Mediterranean, CADAQUES, beautiful white village traditionally dedicated to fishing. Time for a stroll and to lunch.


In the afternoon, climbing its mountain, we visit SANT PERE DE RODES (entrance included). We will enjoy the breathtaking views and talk about the history of this monastery/castle. We continue to GIRONA, the capital of northern Catalonia, a historic city with a historic center of great beauty and a lot of atmosphere. Arrival and free time.

Time in Girona, with our guide we walk through its historic center, its cathedral (entrance included and visit with audio-guide), its old Jewish quarter, its walls. At noon we continue to TOSSA DEL MAR, next to the beautiful beach, the medieval village is protected behind its walls. Time to rest, have lunch, stroll through its streets full of commercial and tourist life and if you want you can bathe in the waters of the Mediterranean. We leave Tossa through rich agricultural regions of central Catalonia. Arrival at the Mountain of Montserrat, we climb to the summit to admire its fantastic landscapes and rock formations. Monastery of Montserrat -Arrival-, we visit the sanctuary where the Virgin of Montserrat is located; patron saint of Catalonia. Accommodation included in the hotel of the Monastery. The night in this place is very peaceful; we can go to the sung liturgy (it is not celebrated every day). At dawn we may be awakened by the bells that call to prayer.


Note: accommodation in the Monastery is subject to availability, in case there are no rooms available, we would spend the night near Montserrat.

Again we head towards the sea, SITGES, beautiful and ancient city, we walk through its historic center, its cathedral and the promenade. We continue to TARRAGONA where we visit the archaeological site formed by the Roman ruins of Tarraco, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (entrance included). Time for lunch in its pedestrian historic center. In the afternoon we continue to the Penedés region, renowned for its wines. We arrive at the town of SAN SADURNI DE NOYA, we are now in the center of the Catalan cava producing region. We will visit the historic winery of FREIXENET, famous for its cavas (entrance to the winery included). We will toast with a glass of cava for this trip.
