Itinerary

Day 1:
Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style!!! The information about the meeting place and start time of your circuit can be found on your voucher.
Day 1: Berlin- Goslar- Marienburg Palace- Hildesheim
The journey begins with an early departure from Berlin, crossing Brandenburg and passing the former border that divided Germany for almost 50 years. Visit of the former border installations, today the Memorial-Museum.

Arrival to the city of GOSLAR: World Heritage Site by Unesco, a city that has preserved its physiognomy almost intact for centuries and was not bombed during the war. The guide introduces us to the architectural curiosities of the city. Time for a walk and lunch.

The route continues through the Lower Saxony region to reach the MARIENBURG PALACE (entrance fee included). Visit this castle, known as the northern Neuschwanstein, which has a truly fairytale history. The first day finishes in HILDESHEIM, where the pre-Romanesque Cathedral stands out and continues discovering this beautiful city. Accommodation.
Day 2: Hildesheim- Celle- Bremmen- Hamburg.
Departure from Hildesheim to the beautiful town of CELLE. Let‘s fall in love with its half-timbered houses, the largest ensemble of this typical architecture preserved in Germany; with its medieval castle, next to the historic city centre, surrounded by a beautiful park that still preserves its original Baroque theatre.

Continue on to another interesting city that you may have already heard of: BREMEN. We are all familiar with the Grim Brothers´ fairy tale: The Bremen Musicians. Here is one of his famous sculpturesand the restored city centre with its impressive XV century Baltic Gothic Town Hall.

After lunch, arrival in HAMBURG. First, visit the most important and modern building of the city, the Elbe Philharmonic, with its spectacular architecture, from whose terrace (entrance fee included) there is a beautiful view to enjoy. Stroll through the Speicherstadt, or "city of warehouses", surrounded by canals. This industrial architectural heritage is a real highlight of Hamburg and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015. Accommodation.
Day 3: Hamburg- Lübeck- Schwerin- Wismar.-
Today we head east to another city by the sea, in this case, the Baltic LÜBECK. Time to stroll through its streets, visit its famous medieval gate, have lunch, and, of course, buy a box or two of its acclaimed marzipan.

Next, a change of state, entering Mecklenburg. Its capital, SCHWERIN is the smallest capital city in Germany, with only 100,000 inhabitants, but is nevertheless a charming city that deserves to be known. There is a beautiful palace surrounded by water, Schweriner Schloss (entrance fee included, closed on Mondays).

In the afternoon, arrival at WISMAR, a cosy Baltic city where we have our accommodation.
Day 4: Wismar- Dars Peninsula: Wustrow - Ahrenshoop - Prerow- Stralsund.-
Today leads us to the DARS PENINSULA. The relief and boundaries of this 45 km long peninsula are constantly changing, the coastline changes with the movement of the marine currents. The first stop is in the Slavic village of WUSTROW, where to admire a collection of original XVIII century farmhouses, Barnstorf, with its hipped reed roofs, to stroll along the walkway over the sea, typical of the bathing areas during the XIX century, and to visit the church with its 18 m high tower, which can be climbed for a panoramic view of this fine peninsula in the middle of the water.

Afterward, the day continues to the next town, AHRENSHOOP, which went from being a small fishing village became a summer resort and artists´ colony at the end of the XIX century. Discover its beautiful shops, art galleries, its old mill which is nowadays a nice café, and finally, go to the little harbour at the foot of the Saaler Bodden to have a typical smoked fish.

In the afternoon, arrival at PREROW, also on the peninsula. There we take a horse-drawn carriage ride (included) through the National Park of the West Pomeranian Lagoon to the lighthouse, from where the view of the dune landscape is breathtaking.

After this spectacular scenery, drive to the town of STRALSUND, where to stroll through its historic streets, full of spectacular Baltic brick Gothic architecture. Accommodation.
Day 5: Stralsund- Hiddensee Island- Rügen Island.-
In the morning, a short drive before arriving at Schaprode where we take a ferry (included) to the small car-free island of HIDDENSEE. The ideal place to go back in time and disconnect, to fall in love with its paths, hillsides, landscapes... You may prefer to stroll through the village, full of little shops, cafés, and restaurants. In any case, be sure to try a typical local fish dish.

After this experience, at one of the most sought after holiday destinations, we return by ferry to Schaprode to go to RÜGEN, again an island, but in this case a large island of 900 Km2. Accommodation.
Day 6: Rügen- Jasmund National Park and Kap Arkona on Rügen - Berlin.-
