Itinerary

Day 1:
Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style!!! The information about the meeting place and start time of your circuit can be found on your voucher.
Day 1: Munich- Oberammergau- Neuschwanstein Castle - Fussen - Highline 179 Reutte- Gramish-Patenkirchen.-
We start our journey heading south to reach the fairytale village of OBERAMMERGAU. Luftlmalerei painted houses awaits to surprise visitors, a typical German and Austrian mural art, and its Linderhof Palace, (entrance included) the only castle that Ludwig II of Bavaria was able to finish with Versailles-style gardens. A short drive from there will take us to the famous NEUSCHWANSTEIN Castle. You will surely recognise its silhouette... Maria Bridge will offer you some of the best panoramic views of the castle. In addition to that, you can also admire breathtaking views of the Schwangau Valley, where the Hohenschwangau Palace, Ludwig II of Bavaria´s childhood home, is also located. Time for lunch in FUSSEN, the town at the foot of these mountains.

In the afternoon, we continue into the Majestic Tyrolean Alps. We enter Austria, and our first stop will be to admire the HIGHLINE179, the 114 m high suspension bridge over Ehrenburg Castle and Fort Claudia ruins. Are you brave enough to take a walk across this bridge? We hope you don´t get vertigo-stricken!

Back to the German Tyrol to reach another small and charming town in the German Alps, GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN. Accommodation.
Day 2: Garmisch- Patenkirchen- Landsberg am Lech- Augsburgo- Ulm.-
Today we head north to LANDSBERG AM LECH, a beautiful town on the banks of the river Lech that has preserved its historic walled centre almost intact. Time for a stroll or a short walk to the Lech river beach, with its cool, swiftly flowing mountain water!

Afterwards, we drive to AUGSBURG, one of the oldest cities in Germany and one of the most important cities in Bavaria. It has a precious collection of fountains, canals and water towers that have supplied the city with running water since the XV century. Visit the Town Hall (entrance included) with its impressive Renaissance gilded hall and a famous restaurant where you can have lunch if you wish. Continue strolling, visiting the Augsburger Dom, the Basilica of St. Ulrich and St. Afra or the Fuggerei, a historic workers´ housing complex considered the oldest in the world and the first in Europe, in operation since the XVI century to the present day.

Then we depart to ULM, the city where Albert Einstein was born. Stroll along the Danube river and enjoy the landscape. Accommodation.
Day 3: Ulm- Nordlingen- Dinkelsbühl- Rotemburgo- Wurzburgo.-
Departure to NÖRDLINGEN, a small town in Bavaria built in the middle of a meteorite crater. Time to stroll around and admire its beautiful historic centre, with buildings constructed with Suevite stone, stone dotted with diamonds.

We travel north to reach DINKELSBÜHL, an unavoidable city on our Romantic Route, one of the most beautiful in Germany. It has preserved much of its XVI century bourgeois architecture intact, the enormous half-timbered houses. We´ll also visit the town walls and its twin sister town, ROTHEMBURG OB DER TAUBER (Rothenburg), which is smaller and is known as the Christmas village. You can find out why with a visit to the Christmas Museum (entrance included).

Continue to WURZBURG, arrival and accommodation.
Day 4: Wurzburgo- Bamberg- Museo Faber-Castell- Núremberg.-
In the morning, a stroll through the historic centre of WURZBURG to admire the vineyards over the Main Bridge, the Market Square, the Cathedral or a walk through the Residenz Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We continue our journey, BAMBERG, one of the most remarkable towns in Bavarian Franconia, with its canals and half-timbered houses. And of course, a special highlight from this region is the Franconian beer, the most prized beer in Germany, and in Bamberg, they also have their own smoked beer speciality.

Time to head to the Faber Castell castle. This name reminds us of the best lead and colouring pencils in the world. Visit the FABER-CASTELL MUSEUM (entrance included) and learn more about the castle´s history.

After the visit, we depart to NUREMBERG. Photo stop at some points of the city, such as the Palace of Justice, where the famous Nuremberg Trials were held, the Nuremberg Castle, the Colosseum (Kongresshalle), among other interesting monuments. Accommodation.
Day 5: Núremberg- German monument Walhalla- Ratisbona- Munich.-
