We will start our tour arriving at an unusual Austrian landscape of extensive vineyard:the Lake Neusiedl National Park. Our first stop.Our first stop in this World Heritage Site for its rich landscape and the value of surrounding villages is RUST. Austria´s smallest city famous for its sweet wine Ruster Ausbruch and for the charm of its elegant,pastel-colored houses,which are located around the small fishermen´s church.

We will continue through grain fields and vineyards to the Hungarian border,where the “Pan-European Picnic” Monument is located with a story that our guide will tell us. In few minutes we will arrive in another spot,a symbolic monument,the FERTÖKAROS STONE QUARRY AND CAVE THEATRE (entrance fee included).


We will them arrive in SOPRON,beautiful city not usually on the tourist circuits,rebuilt after a fire in the XVII century.After tasting,if you wish,its rich gastronomy,we set off for Austria.Near Gloggnitz city,we will take the SEMMERING RAILWAY(included). It was declared a World Heritage Site,both for the beauty of the landscape it crosses and for its fifteen viaducts and tunnels and the technical prowess involved in its construction.


Once in Semmering,we will continue through beautiful mountain scenery to the Styria´s capital, GRAZ,a city declared Word Heritage Site.We will walk along the Herrenstrasse and its lively squares,or we can climb the hill of the castle,where the Clock Tower is located,from where we will get a fantastic view.Accommodation.

Departure from Graz.We will pass through the small village of THAL BEI GRAZ, famous for sheltering the Arnold Schawarenegger´s birthplace.In the same village we will stop at the curious St.Jacob of Thal church.

After this brief photo stop,we will continue to one of the best kept treasures of the country,the ADMONT ABBEY(entrance included),which has one of the most spectacular libraries in Europe.


We will arrive at lunchtime in what is for many people,the most beautiful Austrian village :HALLSTATT.We will walk through its picturesque streets and look out over the viewpoints that offer us unique panoramic views. Afterwards, a cable car ride to the Hallstatt Skyline is included.We will be able to go back down by the cable car,but we recommend to do it through a signposted trail,to enjoy other perspectives.


In the late afternoon we will reach the Mozart´s city and its culture: SALZBURG.We will have time to walk around the illuminated city. Accommodation.
