Itinerary

Day 1: Fez.-
Welcome to Morocco! Reception at the airport, transfer to the hotel for check-in and free time till the beginning of the activity.

The city of Fez consists of the Ancient Medina, the Colonial City and the New Neighborhoods. In the afternoon, we will start visiting the neighbourhood of Bab Boujloud, undoubtedly, the most interesting of the city. Medina, a town of the IXth century, nowadays World Heritage by Unesco, is the best preserved of the Arab world and the most significant living monument of all Marocco. The colourful gate of Bab Boujloud is one of the primary access to this Medina that no doubt knew how to preserve its authenticity. Fruit of the mixture of several Arab civilizations, Andalusian, Berber and Hebrew, that we will discover travelling its animated and labyrinthic streets to observe daily life. We will take the opportunity to delve into Islamic culture. We will visit the madrasas or Koranic schools of Attarine, one of the most beautiful for its elegance and the harmony of its architecture, the famous tanners, the square of the Sefarin coppersmiths and the madrasa Bou Inania. At the same time, it is a mosque with its characteristic minaret and one of the few religious monuments open to non-Muslim visitors. Return to the hotel and dinner included.
Day 2: Fez.-
Breakfast at the hotel and then visit at the first of the imperial capitals of Morocco, the cultural and spiritual capital of the country. The first thing we will do will be to approach the Merinies Tombs, from where we can contemplate one of the most beautiful panoramas of Fez and maybe of the country. Afterwards, we will visit the Museum Nejjarine, or the Art and Crafts of Woods museum, where we will taste a Moorish tea at its terrace with beautiful views. And we will finish with the Neighbourhood of Quaraouiyine and its University, one of the oldest in the world and a vital expansion point of Islam.

After completing the visit to the city and going deeper into Moroccan culture, we will do a traditional cooking course. We will have lunch with the delicious recipes we are going to prepare.


Return to the hotel and dinner included.
Day 3: Fez- Meknes- Rabat.-
After breakfast, we will leave the blue city of Fez, going deeper into the region of Meknes, where vineyards, present from ancient times, concentrate 60% of the Moroccan wine production. Arrival at MEKNES called the Moroccan Versailles for its significant number of monuments and its more than 40 km imposing walls. We will know the famous gate Bab Mansour, the mausoleum of the Alaouite King Mulay Ismail and the Square Lahdim with its famous olives market, as Meknes is also the capital of oil and olives of Morocco. Free time to have lunch.

In the afternoon, we will continue our route to RABAT. On arrival, we will take an orientation walk in the city. Accommodation and dinner in the hotel.
Day 4: Rabat- Casablanca- Marrakech.-
After breakfast, we will enjoy the visit to the capital of Morocco and the third of the Imperial Cities of our programme. A mixture of historical past and modernity. The Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the medieval kasbah of the Udayas, walled neighbourhood with narrow streets full of houses painted in blue.

Departure to CASABLANCA, Morocco´s largest city and undoubtedly the most cosmopolitan, economic and industrial engine of the country. We will visit the exterior of the monumental Mosque of Hassan II and the Royal Palace; the neighbourhood of the Habous, the Shouk, the square Mohammed V, the heart of the city, and the famous Corniche, the promenade. Free time for lunch, Casablanca offers a vast gastronomic richness.


Continuation to MARRAKECH. Arrival and accommodation in the hotel. Dinner included.
Day 5: Marrakech.-
After a comforting breakfast, we will do a guided visit into Marrakech and its most important historical monuments that will make us discover the "Ochre Town". We will visit the Koutoubia, the most important mosque in Marrakech whose minaret tower is the symbol and roof of the city (not open to non-Muslims), the impressive Bahia Palace (visit and entrance included), the Saadian Tombs (entrance included), the iconic funerary monument that can be visited in Marrakech with over 100 tombs decorated with mosaics and the evocative ruins of the Badi Palace, which show the magnificence of the city in its time as Morocco´s capital. Free time for lunch at the centre or return to the hotel to rest.

In the afternoon, we will make an external visit to the magnificent olive trees of the Gardens of Menara and the great pond presiding over them, the loving meeting point of sultans. After this, we will also know the glamorous Gardens of Majorelle (entrance included), creation of Yves Saint Laurent, where the small museum is dedicated to the famous designer and its famous designs. Return to the hotel and dinner included.
Day 6: Marrakech and cooking course in AMIZMIZ .-
After breakfast, we will do an excursion towards the lovely valley of Amizmiz. It is located at the feet of the Atlas range, about 50 km from Marrakech. On a traditional Berber farm of the valley, we will assist to an unforgettable cooking course where they will show us the secrets of their cuisine in an enjoyable and didactic way. To begin, they will give us away with bio mint tea. After this, we will start a workshop about species and herbal teas typical of Moroccan Cuisine. Next, we will visit the ecological orchard (with certificate) ORTY-CT) and finally, we will learn how to prepare three kinds of tagines, salads, desserts and bread. After tasting our succulent creations, we will take a short walk through the village and return to our hotel in Marrakech. Dinner included.
Day 7: Marrakech- Saffron from Ourika .-
After breakfast, depart to the Valley of Ourika in the heart of the Great Atlas, with its adobe (sun-dried brick) villages hanging in the hillsides. We will visit the saffron fields of Ourika, a plantation dedicated to saffron culture whose fields offer a magnificent show during the flowering time between October and November. Also, we will have the possibility to know a traditional Berber house. Lunch is included in a typical Berber restaurant.

Return to the hotel in Marrakech. Dinner included. This night, if you want, you can assist as a farewell to the optional "FANTASY" with the dinner included.
Day 8:
After breakfast, end of services. We hope you enjoyed your trip!.
