Itinerary

Day 1:
Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style!!! The information about the meeting place and start time of your circuit can be found on your voucher.
Day 1: Zagreb.-
Meet your guide at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you will visit the city of Zagreb with your guide on this day or on the last day before your return flight. You will have time to sightsee Croatia´s beautiful capital, its XVIII and XIX century Austro-Hungarian architecture, its Gothic cathedral, the XIII century St. Mark´s Church with a colourful roof and stroll along the pedestrian street Tkalciceva, lined with open-air cafes.
Day 2: Zagreb- Opatija- Rovinj- Bale- Pula.-
After breakfast we drive towards the pleasant Istrian peninsula. After a two-hour drive we arrive in OPATIJA, "the beauty of the Adriatic", an elegant town that was the first tourist destination in the country. Afterwards we continue to ROVINJ, a fishing village with lovely colourful buildings, a historical centre and a baroque church, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Istria. Time for a walk and lunch. A stop in BALE, a very small inland village, its origins date back to Roman times. Arrival in PULA at about 4 p.m., a beautiful city with a great Roman heritage, also well-known for its wines and gastronomy. We will visit its magnificent Roman amphitheatre with our guide (entrance included), stroll through its lively port and its historical centre.
Day 3: Pula- Krk- Rab- Zadar.-
Today we will visit the Dalmatian coast, one of the most beautiful coastal regions in the world and its countless islands. Crossing a bridge to the KRK ISLAND, we will visit the Frankopan Castle in the historical centre of Krk (entrance fee included). Next, we sail the Adriatic Sea. We take one of the many ferries that connect the Croatian islands. A 1 hour and 45 minute crossing takes us to the ISLE OF RAB, an island of culture from ancient times to the present day, formidable landscapes and long and pleasant walks, it was already called "Happy Rab" by the Romans. Time to visit its small capital, with its XI century monastery. We will take another small ferry and drive along a beautiful coastal road to ZADAR. Time for a stroll through this Venetian-looking city, enjoy its Roman remains, its pre-Romanesque cathedral and its very pleasant promenade where you can listen to the "organ of the sea" that sounds with the waves.
Day 4: Zadar- Sibenik- Trogir- Dubrovnik.-
We continue visiting world heritage cities which once were part of the Venetian Republic. SIBENIK is a jewel on the most picturesque part on the Adriatic coast. The magnificent Cathedral of St James, protected by UNESCO, numerous churches, monasteries, palaces and the four fortresses that frame the city, are witnesses to its rich historical legacy. We then continue to TROGIR, a city whose past dates back to the Hellenistic period. It was embellished with numerous fortifications as well as public and private buildings by its various rulers. In addition to its beautiful Romanesque churches, it has exceptional Renaissance and Baroque buildings dating from the Venetian domination. We will visit the town with our guide and have time for lunch. We continue our route to DUBROVNIK in the afternoon - Arrival around 5 p.m. and time to relax by the sea. Accomodation in one of the coastal hotels nearby the city.
Day 5: Dubrovnik.-
Full day in the city, a world architectural heritage gem. We are undoubtedly in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe: perched on a rock, surrounded by walls, bathed by the Adriatic Sea and with an intact historical centre . We will visit it with our guide, including the entrances to the Franciscan Monastery, which houses the oldest drugstore in Europe, and the Dubrovnik Cathedral. We also include a cable car ride to admire the fantastic view over the city and the surrounding islands. Free afternoon.
Day 6: Dubrovnik- Split.-
Departure in the morning to drive along the Croatian coast. Arrival in SPLIT at noon. We will stroll through the city with our guide, enjoy the views over the sea and the maze of alleys in the centre. We include the entrance to the magnificently preserved Diocletian´s Palace.
Day 7: Split- Krka- Plitvice- Zagreb.-
Nature is surprisingly beautiful today. We first stop at the KRKA National Park, known for a series of seven waterfalls. We will walk along the natural footpaths (and have the chance to swim) at the Skradinski Buk waterfall, flanked by traditional water mills. We also visit the KRKA MONASTERY, the monastery of St. Michael the Archangel, founded in 1345. It is the best-known monastery in the whole country, belonging to the Serbian Orthodox Church. After that we will reach the PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a lunch break, included entrance to the park (with the right to use boats on the lake or the little train) where you can admire the lakes and waterfalls; you will walk along its paths or take the boats that cross these lakes. Return to ZAGREB, arrival and accommodation.
Day 8: Zagreb-
Breakfast. According to flight schedule, city tour of Zagreb (if not done on arrival) and transfer to the airport to return to your hometown.
