Itinerary
Day 1:
Traslado al hotel. Nuestro guía contactará con usted al final del día.
IMPORTANTE - SI USTED SOLICITÓ NOCHES ADICIONALES a su llegada al hotel de la ciudad tendrá su reserva realizada pero el guía de su viaje normalmente no se encontrará hasta el día de inicio de los servicios. Su tiempo por tanto antes de este momento es libre. En su hotel le podrán ayudar para darle toda la información que precise sobre la ciudad.
Day 2: Atenas.-
In the
morning, a panoramic tour of ATHENS.
We will see the modern city, the Panathinaikos Stadium and the Royal Palace. In
the evening, we include a transfer to
the area of PLAKA, a place
full of small Greek taverns where you can also enjoy this country’s folklore.
Day 3: Atenas- Kamena Vourla- Meteoras- Kalambaka
We set off in the early morning for the North of Greece. A stop at KAMENA
VOURLA, a pretty tourist centre by the sea amidst magnificent countryside.
Continuation northbound. We make a brief stop at the gorge where the battle of
Thermopylae took place. KALABACA, arrival in the early afternoon. We will
visit the Valley of the METEORA, an impressive place declared Unesco
World Heritage. We will see the whole of the valley and will have the chance to
enter one of the most famous monasteries (entrance included). Dinner included.
Day 4: Kalambaca- Tesalónica- Melnik- Sandanski.-
We travel through the North of Greece, amidst pretty
mountain scenery, to the Aegean Sea. Arrive in THESSALONICA with
time for a stroll and lunch in Greece’s second largest city. After this we
continue towards BULGARIA, and the border pass. In Bulgarian
Macedonia we stop in MELNIK, a picturesque museum village in
beautiful scenery amidst a wine producing area. Arrive in SANDANSKI,
at this beautiful small spa city, the birthplace of Spartacus. Dinner and
accommodation.
Day 5: Sandanski- Rila-Sofia.-
We visit the beautiful Rila Monastery, the
heritage of mankind, with its appearance of a fortress surrounded by
forests. We continue to SOFIA, where we arrive at the end of
the morning. After lunch, we include a tour of the capital of Bulgaria,
where we will see the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the Russian Church, the
Mosque, its squares and avenues of Stalinist architecture. Rest of day at
leisure.
Day 6: Sofía- Bachkovo- Plovdiv.-
Distancia realizada: 205 km.
Paisajes: Grandes llanuras agrícolas.
Notas: Lleve ropa adecuada para la visita de Bachkovo.
08.30 hrs.- Sofia –salida-.
11.00 hrs.- MONASTERIO DE BACHKOVO –Llegada-., El segundo monasterio de Bulgaria, fundado en el siglo XI, con sus tres iglesias y la vida de sus monjes lo sentimos como recinto lleno de paz.
12.00 hrs.- Monasterio de Bachkovo –salida-.
12.45 hrs.- PLOVDIV –Llegada-, tras un tiempo para almorzar, realizamos una visita panorámica de esta ciudad, una de las mas antiguas de Europa, incluimos las entradas al Anfiteatro romano, la botica antigua y la casa armenia. Cena incluida. Tiempo libre posteriormente para que pueda pasear por sus bonitas callejuelas históricas y sus pequeños comercios.
Day 7: Plovdiv- Kazanlak –Shipka – Etara- Arbanassi – Veliko Tarnovo
Distancia realizada: 230 km.
Paisajes: Atravesamos el valle de las rosas que en la época de la floración, entre mayo y junio, es de gran colorido. Cruzamos la cordillera de los Balcanes entre grandiosos paisajes.
Nota: en algunos casos, la visita de Arbanassi podrá realizarse el domingo por la mañana en lugar del sábado.
08.00 hrs.- Plovdiv –salida-. Agradables pequeñas carreteras por el interior de Bulgaria. Llegamos al valle de las rosas.
10.00 hrs.- KAZALNAK.- Incluimos entrada a la réplica de la tumba Tracia, Patrimonio dela Humanidad y aprenderemos sobre la elaboración de productos derivados de las rosas.
11.30 hrs.- Kazalnak –salida-. Atravesamos altas cordilleras de montaña. En ruta paramos en la iglesia rusa de SHIPKA, que nos recuerda las vinculaciones que existen entre los búlgaros y los rusos y la ayuda que Bulgaria recibió de Rusia en su guerra de independencia contra los otomanos.
13.15 hrs.- ETARA –Llegada-. Coquetísima aldea/museo etnográfico, tiempo para pasear entre sus viviendas tradicionales y sus talleres de artesanos. Almuerzo incluido.
15.30 hrs.- Etara –salida-.
16.45 hrs.- ARBANASSI –Llegada-, antigua ciudad comerciante con sus casas-fortaleza, visitamos la Iglesia de la Natividad (entrada incluida) .
17.45 hrs.- Arbanassi –salida-
18.00 hrs.- VELIKO TARNOVO- Tiempo libre para pasear en la antigua capital de Bulgaria con un centro medieval muy pintoresco junto a su barranco.
Day 8: Veliko Tarnovo- Dimitar Basarbovski- Bucarest.-
Distancia realizada: 190 km.
Paisajes: Atravesamos el Danubio cruzando la frontera.
Nota: Recuerde que pasamos a Rumania, lleve el pasaporte a mano.
08.30 hrs.- Veliko Tarnovo –salida-.
10.00 hrs.- MONASTERIO DE BESARBOSKI –Llegada- Lugar de peregrinación, parte del monasterio se encuentra excavado en la roca.
11.00 hrs.- Besarboski –salida-. Pasamos a Rumania cruzando el Danubio; en ocasiones pueden existir demoras en la frontera.
12.45 hrs.- BUCAREST –Llegada-. Tras un tiempo para almorzar, visita panorámica de la ciudad con su casco antiguo y el gigantesco Palacio del Parlamento. Tiempo libre. Cena incluida en el hotel.
Day 9: Bucarest- Sinaia- Bran – Sighisoara.-
Distancia realizada: 325 km.
Paisajes: Muy bonitos paisajes atravesando los Carpatos, pequeños pueblos pintorescos en ruta.
Nota: La zona de Sinaia se encuentra en la montaña, recomendamos ropa de abrigo y calzado cómodo.
08.00 hrs.- Bucarest –salida-. Salimos de la gran metrópolis de Bucarest hacia las montañas. Bonitos paisajes Alpinos.
10.30 hrs.- SINAIA –Llegada-. En un fantástico marco paisajístico pasearemos por los jardines de los Castillos de Peles y Pelisor (visita solo de jardines, interior cerrado los lunes).
12.00 hrs.- Sinaia –salida-. Altas montañas.
13.00 hrs.- BRAN -Llegada-. Incluimos la entrada y conocemos la fortaleza del siglo XIV, conocido como el “Castillo de Drácula”. Tras ello tiempo para pasear en su turístico y activo centro y almorzar.
15.30 hrs.- Bran –salida-. Atravesamos regiones que fueron habitados por personas de origen alemán, la arquitectura de algunos de los pueblos nos lo muestra.
17.45 hrs.- SIGHISOARA - bellísima ciudad medieval amurallada patrimonio de la humanidad. Esta noche incluimos una cena muy especial, en el restaurante del Conde Drácula, en la casa donde nació el Conde Vlad Tepes.
Day 10: Sighisoara- Biertan- Sibiu- Hunedoara- Timisoara.-
Distancia realizada: 395 km.
Paisajes: Agradables y variados paisajes, pequeños pueblos pintorescos en ruta.
08.30 hrs.-Sighisoara –salida-.En Transilvania existen numerosas iglesias fortificadas en zonas que fueron habitadas por personas de origen alemán, algunas de estas iglesias han sido declaradas Patrimonio dela Humanidad, conoceremos una de ellas.
09.00 hrs.-BIERTAN –Llegada-. Visita de su iglesia fortificada, entrada incluida.
10.00 hrs.- Biertan –salida-.-
11.15 hrs.-SIBIU –Llegada-. Importante centro económico y cultural, fue capital de Transilvania; sus calles llenas de vida, sus plazas y callejas. Tiempo para pasear y almorzar.
14.15 hrs.- Sibiu –salida-. Tomamos autopista atravesando regiones agrícolas.
16.00 hrs.- HUNEDOARA-Incluimos la entrada y visitamos este impresionante castillo, considerado el mas potente y bonito de Rumania.
17.00 hrs.- Hunedoara –salida-.
19.30 hrs.- TIMISOARA –Llegada-. Ciudad de origen romano, habitan en ellas diferentes comunidades, su centro clásico restaurado y peatonal es muy agradable.
Day 11: Timisoara- Belgrado.
Distancia realizada: 170 km.
Nota: Lleve su pasaporte a mano, pasamos la frontera hacia Serbia.
08.30 .- Timisoara –salida-. Entre agradables paisajes llegamos a la frontera con Serbia. Tramites fronterizos (en ocasiones pueden ser demorados).
11.30 hrs.- BELGRADO –Llegada-. A nuestra llegada incluimos visita panorámica de esta activa capital ubicada a orillas del rio Danubio en su confluencia con el Sava, podremos admirar su activo centro, su parlamento, y caminaremos en la fortaleza de Kalemegdan . Tarde libre.
Day 12: Belgrado- Sarajevo.-
A stage of pretty forest and mountain scenery. We enter BOSNIA. SARAJEVO,
arrival at lunchtime. Panoramic tour with a local guide of this city of
strong Turkish influence: its mosques, its madrasahs, its busy bazaars. We will
also see the Tunnel of Hope that saved the city during the Serbian
siege. Dinner included.
Note: according to arrival time, the
Tunnel of Hope can be visited on Friday before leaving for Mostar.
Day 13: Sarajevo- Mostar- Medjugorge- Kravice- Dubrovnik Cavtat.
Another
exciting drive of scenic beauty. Amidst deep valleys, we travel to MOSTAR,
with its very beautiful historic centre and Stonebridge separating the
Orthodox, Muslim and Catholic communities. After lunch, we stop in MEDJUGORJE, a
place that attracts thousands of Catholic Pilgrims. We then travel to KRAVICE,
we stop at its magnificent waterfalls before continuing to CROATIA.
Border procedures (which may be long). We will then arrive into DUBROVNIK at
the end of the day. Accommodation in Cavtat, coastal town near the
city. Dinner included.
NB: From the end of October until the beginning of March,
it is not possible to visit the Kravice waterfalls.
Day 14: Dubrovnik Katvat.-
In the
morning we include a panoramic tour of DUBROVNIK with a local guide. We
are undoubtedly in one of the most beautiful cities of Europe, surrounded by
walls, bathed by the Adriatic Sea; its intact historic centre is a jewel of
world architectural heritage. The tour includes tickets to the Franciscan Monastery
with the oldest pharmacy in Europe and Dubrovnik Cathedral. We also
include a cable car ride to give us
a fantastic view of the city and the neighbouring islands. Afternoon free.
Return to our hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner included.
Day 15:
