Itinerario

Día 1:
Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style!!! The information about the meeting place and start time of your circuit can be found on your voucher.
Día 1: México City- Tequisquiapán- peña de Bernal.-
We leave early to TEQUISQUIAPAN, a charming magical town with its narrow and cobbled streets, adorned with wrought iron windows, full of bougainvilleas. We will visit the arcaded square "Miguel Hidalgo", where we will see the beautiful Parish of Santa María de la Asunción, neoclassical and colored in a way that will surprise us. We will be able to get lost in the stalls of the Handicraft Market or La Pila Park, observe the leafy ahuehuetes and junipers. It is an ideal place for a walk or simply to enjoy the surroundings.

After lunch we continue and we will arrive arrive at PEÑA DE BERNAL, a beautiful town with cobbled streets that has the third largest monolith in the world, considered part of an ancient volcano almost ten million years old. Accommodation.


Later we will enjoy accompanied by our guide visiting the Temple of San Sebastián, located in the main square of Villa de Bernal, and the artisan center, where artisan hands make shoes, bags, rugs, vests…. typical of the area. Time to walk and recharge energy that is said to emerge from its monolith.
Día 2: Peña Bernal- Querétaro.-
Free morning in Peña de Bernal to continue enjoying this town full of symbols, legends and history.

At about 12.00h. we will continue our route. We will visit another essential place: QUERETARO. We will see its famous Aqueduct, one of the largest in Mexico and the symbol of the city.


After lunch we will start the tour with our guide. In the walking tour we will arrive at Alameda Hidalgo de Querétaro, located in the city center and where the monument to Miguel Hidalgo is located. We will be able to observe exhibitions of painting or photography in the exterior bars.


We will discover the history of the Church of the Holy Cross, considered part of the birth of the Christian city in the Viceroyalty. We will continue visiting the House of the Corregidora Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, currently the Government Palace and one of the most important buildings in the independence of Mexico; our guide will explain the history that it keeps. We will finish the walk in the Historic Center of Querétaro, a World Heritage Site, one of the richest architectural legacies in the country, with its peculiar urban layout, which reflects the dual Indian and Spanish origin of this beautiful city. Día 3: Querétaro.-
Today we will have all day to continue enjoying the city. We will know the Fountain of Neptune, Roman god of the waters and seas, built in the 18th century. We continue towards Cerro de las Campanas, a hill in the city full of history and where several important events occurred that set the course of the country. Its "phonolas", "sound stones", emit a semi-metallic sound when colliding with each other similar to that of bells. We will finish in the beautiful House of 5 patios, which has inside with different architecture that will surprise you. Time to continue enjoying this beautiful city.
Día 4: Querétaro- San Miguel de Allende- Guanajuato.-
After breakfast, we will go to SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, we will visit main attractions of the city such as the symbolic parish of San Miguel Arcángel, the Garden, the Temple of San Francisco, the Casa de Allende and the Plaza Cívica. We will visit the Handicraft Market, where wewill be able to buy typical products, made mainly with papier-mâché, metals and blown glass.

During our walk we will learn more about the history of Mexico. Before entering the Municipal Palace we will find the figure of Miguel Ignacio Allende, a great character from the War of Independence (entrance included). After the visit, we will have time to have lunch and continue walking through its streets.


Later, around 5:00 p.m., we will go to GUANAJUATO, a colonial city, famous for its architecture, tunnels, cobbled streets and full of enigmatic legends. During the tour we will discover the monuments and places that make it famous, such as the Juárez Theater, The Union Garden, The Basilica of Guanajuato, The University, The Monument to Peace, The Old Government Palace, El Callejón del Beso, La Plazuela de San Roque and La Alhóndiga de Granaditas.Accommodation
Día 5: Guanajuato.-
Today we will have the opportunity to visit a beautiful place that offers us a great panoramic view of Guanajuato where we will find the figure of El Pipila, which represents the miners. In order to reach this point, we must go up in the funicular (ticket included).

Later if we will visit the Museum of the Mummies (ticket included), where we will learn about the process of how to maintain and preserve them, the oldest and most recent mummy. Lunch and time to continue enjoying the city by ourselves and of course also the night life!
Día 6: Guanajuato- Dolores Hidalgo- Santa María del Río- San Luis Potosí.-
We will leave Guanajuato to reach another magical town, DOLORES HIDALGO, better known as the cradle of the Independence of Mexico. There we will see the Parroquia Nuestra Señora de los Dolores and the small center where is located the statue of the priest Miguel Hidalgo who gave voice to the Cry of Independence. We will walk through the town, the Pottery Market, and visit the Casa Hidalgo Museum or the José Alfredo Jiménez Museum (tickets included).

We will continue the our tour visiting SANTA MARÍA DEL RÍO, a town famous for its handmade shawls. We will know its center and we will have time to taste its typical dishes.


Then we will take the road that takes us to SAN LUIS DE POTOSÍ, where we will arrive in the late afternoon. Accommodation .
Día 7: San Luis Potosí.-
After breakfast we will have a beautiful tour of the city center. We will know the historic center with its beautiful Cathedral, the Garden of San Francisco, the Chapel of Loreto, the Casa Virreina, the Temple of Carmen. Afterwards we will head to know the "Water Box", one of the most distinctive symbols of the city. It is a circular structure made with pink quarry and with a neoclassical style that received the water of the Cañada del Lobo and at the time was the supply of the potosinos. In the afternoon we can continue to get lost among the streets of this colonial city. Accommodation.
Día 8: San Luis Potosí- Cerro de San Pedro- Río Verde.-
After breakfast we will go to CERRO DE SAN PEDRO, a ghost town with a mining past that surprises with its unexpected beauty. We will take a tour of the old Prison Mine among cacti and biznagas. We will also visit the Cosmic Museum in which strange objects that have been found in the town are exhibited (tickets included).

We will return to San Luis Potosí to visit the Railway Museum, where we will enjoy a scenic train ride into the past, in addition to observing steam engines and monumental models (entrance included).


Later we will visit the Theater of La Paz, one of the four main theaters in Mexico, where you will find different sculptures such as the "Dancer", as well as Murals along the stairs (entrance included). Time for lunch.


In the afternoon, we will be in RIO VERDE, also called the city of Azahares, for its citrus orchards and for the intoxicating aroma of the environment. We will get lost in the Main Square, where we will have time to enjoy the wonderful museums, cathedrals and markets in the town. Time for dinner and accommodation.
Día 9: Río Verde – Xilitla – Valles City.-
Today we are going to visit another magical town, XILITLA, where we will admire one of the most fascinating landscapes in all of Mexico, with its coffee plantations and dense vegetation.

We will have the opportunity to visit the Surrealist Garden of Edward James, which will shows us works inspired by the cultivation of orchids, the vegetation of the Huasteca Potosina and the architectural elements of the surrealist movement (entrance included).

We will continue our journey to CIUDAD VALLES, considered the door to the Huasteca Potosina and which hides an interesting historic center. What about trying its rich gastronomy? Huasteca enchiladas, the crazy broth, or the traditional zacahuil.


We will continue to the Hidalgo Garden, with its peculiar kiosk, also known as Alameda, to enjoy the calm of the city. We will then go to the Santiago Apóstol Parish, the oldest building in the city dating from the 16th century. Time to enjoy this important tourist and commercial center. Accommodation.

Día 10: Vallés City.-
We will start the day to tour this historic city soon. First of all, we will head to the Historic Center where we will find the oldest building in this city, the Parish of Santiago Apóstol dating from the sixteenth century. We will also know the most modern religious building, the Cathedral,dedicated to our Lady of Guadalupe.

We will get in our vehicle to head east of the city and get to know the Archaeological Zone of Tamtoc. So far it is the only pre-Hispanic city discovered in the Huasteca. It has numerous archaeological remains that reflect the ideas of its inhabitants about time and fertility (entrance included).


Before returning to Vallés City we will make a stop to get to know the Museum of cultures of the Huasteca Potosina Tamuantzán. Its name comes from the Tenek language which means "Place of encounter with the snake". It comprises a collection of archaeological, historical and ethnographic character of Huasteca culture (entrance included).


We will continue our route to Vallés City where we will have time to rest or to continue discovering, together with our guide, the corners offered by this wonderful city.
Día 11: Ciudad Vallés- México City.-
