Itinerario

Día 1:
Welcome to your Europamundo Trip Style!!! The information about the meeting place and start time of your circuit can be found on your voucher.
Día 1: Edinburgh – Rosslyn –Berwick – Edinburgh .-
Departure from Edinburgh to visit the Borders, Scotland’s south-eastern region. We begin with a visit to Rosslyn Chapel (entrance fee included), a masterpiece of British Gothic art sculpted with whimsical figures that have led to all manner of interpretations. Owned by the Sinclair clan, Scottish landowners of Norman origins, this chapel has gained enormous fame in recent years for having inspired the famous best-seller The DaVinci Code.

From there, we will head towards the coast to discover the charming village of BERWICK. Its rows of Victorian houses facing the sea evokes a bygone era when this place was a popular summer destination.


Return to Edinburgh and accommodation.
Día 2: Edinburgh – South Queensferry - St. Andrews – Innis Gunn Brewery - Pitlochry.-
This morning, we will head north to the ancient kingdom of Fife. We will cross the Firth of Forth over the most modern of its three bridges, but not before making a brief stop at South Queensferry to get a detailed view of the Victorian Railway Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We then reach the town of St. ANDREWS, the spiritual heart of Scotland and golf capital of the world. Here can be seen an abbey ruins that guarded for centuries the relics of St. Andrews, destroyed during the Protestant Reformation, as well as the Old Course, the most prestigious golf course in the whole world.


After some time to stroll around the city and have lunch, we will continue our journey through the cities of Dundee and Perth and have the opportunity to visit the Innis & Gunn Brewery shop, where we can sample some of the best craft beer in the country, should you wish to do so.


In the evening we will arrive at PITLOCHRY, a picturesque town that has been a base for those wishing to explore the Scottish Highlands since the 19th century. We will enjoy Atholl Road, its main street, crowded with Victorian stone houses, pubs, restaurants, and shops, or stroll along the banks of River Tummel. Accommodation.
Día 3: Pitlochry – Dalwhinnie – Cairngorms - Inverness - Grantown-on-Spey.-
Departure from Pitlochry to visit the Dalwhinnie Distillery, located at the source of the River Spey, it is the highest distillery above sea level in Scotland. Or, alternatively, the Edradour Distillery, one of the smallest in the country with a great reputation not only for the quality of its spirit but also for the casks it ages and bottles from other distilleries which have become collector’s items.

After the tour and tasting at the distillery, we will cross the Cairngorms National Park in our way to INVERNESS, the capital of the Highlands where we will stop for a brief visit and a lunch.


In the afternoon, we will head south to LOCH NESS, the most famous loch in Scotland, home to Nessie, and take a boat trip across its mysterious waters to disembark at the ruins of Urquhart Castle, destroyed during the Jacobite Rebellions.


The day will finish in the Speyside region, the heart of Scotch whisky production, until we reach GRANTOWN-ON-SPEY. Accommodation.
Día 4: Grantown on Spey – Aberlour – Cardhu – Glenlivet - Grantown on Spey.-
The day will start by discovering another facet of the whisky production process at the Speyside Cooperage (entrance fee included) in ABERLOUR, the only working cooperage in the UK.

From there, we continue to visit the famous Cardhu Distillery (entrance fee included). Cardhu was not only the first distillery to be run by a woman, Helen Cummings, but its distillate is also one of the most important in the blends that make up the Johnnie Walker Black Label.


After lunch, we continue on our way to visit Glenlivet, another of the country´s best and most famous distilleries (entrance fee included). Its smooth, fruity whisky continues to triumph all over the world.


After the visit, return to Grantown-on-Spey. Accommodation.
Día 5: Grantown on Spey – Doune Castle - Stirling – Bannockburn –Falkirk- Edinburgh.-
